Amitabh Bachchan to join Aishwarya Rai - Abhishek Bachchan's Gulab Jam

Just last week we told you that real-life
couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya
Rai Bachchan are all set to reunite on the
big screen in Anurag Kashyap's Gulab
Jamun. Gulab Jamun is said to be a slice of
life film and both Junior Bachchan and
Aishwarya seem to be very excited about
the project. Coming in as great news on
Gulab Jamun is the new update that Big B
aka Amitabh Bachchan may join the duo in
the film.
As rumours are rife that Senior Bachchan is
the latest to join the cast of Gulab Jamun, a
source close to the project informed a daily,
"After initiating talks with Abhishek and
Ash, the makers had given a narration to
Big B last year, following which he had
suggested a few tweaks to the script. It
was after the wrap-up of Manmarziyan last
month that conversation around this film
started again. Anurag reached out to Big B
with the reworked script. If all goes as
planned, he will be on board soon. It is yet
unknown whether he will be playing a
father to Abhishek or Aishwarya.
The last time we saw the trio together was
in the 2008 release Sarkar Raj. Other than
Gulab Jamun, Abhishek Bachchan will also
star in Anurag's Manmarziyaan. On Amitabh
Bachchan joining Gulab Jamun, we eagerly
wait for an official confirmation from the
actor and makers of the film.
