Roop - 50 shades of the hero with his Gulabo
The most handsome irresistible flirt. That impish smile, those endless stares, a halo of innocence surrounding his being yet mischief writ large on the face. Shasha is incredibly awesome as Roop.
Not a word spoken still we sit staring saucer eyed at Roop as if he's just recited the entire Odessy!! As that smile ever so slowly spreads across roop's face one goes laughing n rolling at the sheer innocence dripping with incorrigible roguishness. And when still trying to recover from all those amused glances he woos you all over again with a teasing repartee. Finally as the heart homes to some normalcy (at least tries to) he takes your breath away with Oh mess with me not looks.
Roop's beguiling charm joys one to the core of the heart. He acts like a rake yet behaves as a gentleman. Speaks with a naivety understands with a gravity. Let's not even mention his garage grease n all those spanner n sliding trolleys lest the screen goes into smoke.
In short Roop is the hero one wants to ribbon pack n self-gift. He is not to be shared. Off-limits, hands off.
I am missing the scooty. I know 90% of the audience was bewitched with the 70degree angle garage romance (honestly while people must be admiring all that breeze blowing through the hero's hair , I was more intrigued as to how shasha was balancing a whole girl on just one arm, the other one busy applying grease on to her forehead. Quite a gravity defying stunt!!) Still, scooty n shasha make a very good team.
ScRoopy (scooty +Roop): is demanded to be brought back into action. The two have given the most tantalizingly entertaining scenes. This pair tops my list of the best mechanically romantic pair. Those scenes of shasha drudgingly pushing n pulling the passionately red scooty along the colourfully flagged road...Ahhh!! These two ought to decorate the front cover of the Top Gear.
The second place for the best team is mutually shared between: (Shasha n Mr Aaun) and (Shasha n Miss Gulabo)
Mr Aaun with his wiggling waggling bushy eyebrows n waxed moustaches is total daddy material. Shasha you two together give entertaining high octane scenes. The power struggle is so delicately portrayed n presented by shasha. Revolt yes, but never a trace of rudeness or disrespect. Fantastic balance by shasha of presenting a strong revolutionary mind yet full of graceful respect towards the relationship.
Miss Gulabo is not just the glamour quotient of the show but also an apt portrayal of strong independent girl (the only times she goes off kilter is in Roop presence). With a jaw droppingly handsome hero in mind all her vexations n exasperations are totally justified. Ishika is doing full justice to her role. Both roop n gulabo look like a million dollar couple.
My most favourite scene between these two is when Shasha says a simple Ji' to her in the initial garage scene. That one innocuous Ji' held an impishness to melt a million hearts. I mightily wish shasha never subdues this impish nature of Roop, irrespective of the story line. Shasha plays an impish, innocent flirt with incredible lan. Artist unrivalled.
Shasha you took your time to come back on screen, nevertheless the wait was all its worthwhile for you as well as your fans .Dancing shasha is a whole new benchmark.
You are the superstar...you are the hero
Always n Forever
Cheers
