This actor to bid goodbye to Sony TV's Porus MUMBAI: As has often been said about all of Siddharth Kumar Tewary's shows, the atmosphere is so comfortable for the actors that they hate to leave the show. Actor Savi Thakur, who plays the role of Porus' brother Kanishk in the show, is also going through the same thing. "The journey of working in this show was amazing. When you play any character, you learn so many things and have so many emotions. You live a different life. I met some beautiful people in Porus' and the journey was very happy and happening with all of them, he says.

The actor adds, "Let's not talk about the closing track because this is the saddest part for an actor. I felt bad when I got to know that I'm not going stay in the show anymore.

Ask him who he will miss the most, and he says, "I am going to miss all my co-actors because they were very so nice to me. I am going to miss Mohit Abrol, Zohaib Siddiqui, and Rati Pandey the most. We have spent a lot of time together, playing games, in the gym, on sets. It was fun working with these guys I am really going to miss them.

Savi is also grateful to Siddharth and Rahul Kumar Tewary for giving him a chance to be part of the show. "I would like to thank Siddharth and Rahul sir for showing their trust in me and making me part of this beautiful show. I wanted to work with Swastik Productions and I guess everyone wants to because it's an amazing production house with amazing people. I'll be looking to work with them again in future, he says.

Talking about the kind of roles he wants to do in the future, he says, "When it comes to choosing roles, I think an actor should do every role that comes to him or her. That is why you can call him or her an actor. I want to prove myself as a hero of the show so I'll be looking for such roles only, he says. Ahhh...another goodbyeee...its always sad to leave a show you love doing...and the way these actors have been away from their homes from so long and living together...it becomes even more difficult for an actor to move on...hope savy gets whatever he wishes for...a hero role coming his way.

It feels so good to hear that one of the person he will miss the most will be Rati di...it reminds me of the time when hrishikesh left, gurpreet left for a time being, philip left, and ofcourse shivdutt. I loved how hrishikesh, gurpreet, and sunny shared pictures with Rati di on their last day of shoot

...Shivdutt had the most scenes with her...so their relation was obvious...so was hrishikesh as RP toh knows him from before...aakhir Hrishikesh RP ke pehle show ka hero tha...Gurpreettt and diii toh bondeddd in like anything...offscreen bhi diii usse jesht jesht karke bulati hain..😆..loved how when the show was starting...he posted di ka promo with chutki promo is out. But savy didnt have that much scenes...neither a bond from before...and same was with sunny...he dint had a single scene with her on show...its good too see that actors who arent even sharing much scenes with her have also bonded so well with her. And if she has so many friends around there...she must be happy...though that does clearly come out in when she talks about porus...but it still feels really good tooo thinkk that she is happyyy and people on sets are fond of her.

i agree...he was good...i liked how he apologized at the end...the complete scene was sooo emotional. Bamniii calling out tooo himmm iss all i wanted to seee...he got what he deserved...though he never did deserved it from alex end...alex ke saath usne aisa kuch bura nahi kiya tha ki usko us tarah ki maut mile...alex ke haath milakar, he made a mistake...but pourav rashtra mein kiya tha...he did to his parents...so he suffered so badly...i dont get why cvs make death scenes so bad in this show...kanishk realizing his mistakes and being sorry was something i always wanted...he did that in his dying moment.

Rati is a lively and fun-loving person. She's also very social and likes making friends with co-stars. Living in that remote location, Umergaon, with not much for entertainment means the actors get to spend a lot of time in the evenings getting to know each other and hanging out. Since a one-day break is not long enough for some actors to go back home, they end up staying in Umergaon and even visiting other co-actors (and now friends) on set too. It's great for bonding. Also, a lot of them started to train almost a year before the filming began or before the show was aired so they made some lifelong friends here for sure.

I have been unable to find the youtube clip of all the women hanging out and singing. Let me continue to search.

I miss Sunny - he was great as Philip and what a debut!

Savi has the kind of face that would work well in a hero role. He's proved he can be a good villain if required and is pretty good at voice modulation too.

Surbhi,

She is happy because she knows how to be happy and because she can make others happy.

I think she must be a kind, caring and giving person, a Friday's child. If you are not familiar with that nursery rhyme, Friday's child is loving and giving. Rati must be like than, sunny, uncomplicated and laughter loving, affectionate and caring towards all her fellow actors, as beautiful inside as out.

That is why even co-stars who have spent only a little time with her onscreen are so fond of her. It is wonderful to be able to remain like that even in a world of cut throat competition, as all media are.

Her calling Gurpreet Jyesht even off screen reminds me of Aishwarya calling Sonu Sood Sujamal Bhaisa even long after Jodhaa Akbar was over and done with.

I would like to see a serial where Rati and Sameksha play sisters, Rati like a broad, serene, protective river like the Ganga, and Sameksha a brisk, bubbly stream like the Alakhnanda. They would beat all the men around hollow.
