Even chanakya dint did it that badly ...how olympia did...olympia went way too ahead...she was trying to actually put our religion down..which wasnt chanakya intention in the scenario...olympia was saying again and again ki main zeus ka jalal dikhaongii when chanakya said in kind of dekh liya zeus ka jalal ...ho gaya...ab chale...while olympia was saying with what intentions is well known...still anusuya didnt replied disrespectfully...and these scenes arent written with any good intentions...tula one i can still agree, that they dint noticed that how they are pitting mother and daughter in law but here cvs wanted olympia to look bad in this...i don't think their intention was not to make olympia insult our religion. I feel their intention was that only. So that viewers see how non-indian people want to put other religion down. But cv's shouldnt have done that...i agree with this.
No one is showing lack of respect for Anusuya here. She is not perfect and neither is Olympias, no one is. Olympias and she have different personalities, which is why things are where they are. If Anusuya had been like Olympias, Porus would have killed Alexander in cold blood a long time ago due to her teachings, but this is not the case. In fact, Olympias is taunting Anusuya for this very reason, that they are not ruthless enough in times of war.
yaar is show mein har koi bhashan deta hain...i can understand ki puru ke thode lambe hote hain auro ke mukable...par deta toh har koi hain...kisi na kisi moment par...har bande ne bole hain lambe lambe dialogues is show mein...olympia bhi bhashan hi de rahi thi...but when anusuya answered back...the bhashan claim is put on her...i don't wish her to claim the throne of the lambe lambe bhashan girl when she is simply answering to other people...she was neither flaunting about our country without any reason ...nor was showing disrespect towards others ...she was just answering back to olympia ...i agree that there lies no competition between the two ladies...but if one will question, the other is bound to respond.
The CVs are doing this to up the PR vs Alexander game and because both women play very important roles in their sons' lives, their exchange is important. Alexander was raised by his mother, with her philosophies and beliefs, whereas Porus respects and learns a lot from his mother as an adult but had a Dasyu upbringing so he does not always approach things the same way as Anusuya would have. In one scene he says gives Dasyurani the respect he would his mother.
Though i was so waiting for this moment at a time..because i find both rati di and sameeksha strong as actors...i now hope it doesnt ever happen for a second time...because i really don't want the porus v/s alexander thing to turn into anusuya v/s olympia now.
It is really a battle of soch, and they are conveying that here too. The fire vs water debate is an old one. Here Olympias is hot as fire and Anusuya as cool as water. Each has her own perspective and will want to justify it, and each is proud of and protective towards her son.

I respect your point of view and your feelings towards your favorite characters. We all have our favorites, but just because I love Alexander or Olympias doesn't mean I hate everyone else on the show. I just focus more on them because I love the way the actors are performing but for sure there have been several questionable incidents in the Macedonian and Farsi tracks.
Same is the case here...so i can understand that...
For example, I really like Praneet Bhat as an actor and he played Darius well. I hated Darius the character for all the bad things he did against PR but I still felt sorry for the way the Bactrians killed him. I have always hated Ambhiraj for his treachery and still do even if he's now Alexander's ally. I have always been fond of Bamni because I "accepted" him with his faults and his merits, as did Anusuya. He never claimed to be perfect and was able to accept his mistakes and learn from them. I also think Anusuya is a strong character as a queen, wife, sister, mother, and role model. Yes, she faltered sometimes and learned from her mistakes too but that's her nature and I accept her for who she is.
This is the reason I don't comment too often on PR events because people take it as lack of respect for the characters. It's not the case at all. If someone says or does something that I don't agree with, then I try to comment on it objectively, whether it's in the Macedonian, Farsi, Bactrian, PR or Dasyu tracks. You remember me disagreeing with the bull scene no matter how much I love Alexander and Olympias? Same goes for the illusion sequence when Alexander killed his loved ones as per the priestess' instructions. You remember me disagreeing with Roxanne's behavior towards Barsine, even though she's Bactrian, is Alexander's wife, and is being mean to a Farsi princess?
The list is endless, and I don't want to have to justify whether I respect someone or not.
i never claimed that its you who will not respect her...else i would have simply quoted you ...balki i was writing posts back to back...and dint even read your reply in between...its just a coincidence that you had also mentioned about religion thing in your post on this thread...i usually quote or take name when i want to talk in person or wish to ask justifications for anything from a particular person...i said in general ...thats what normally happens and i was reading a lot about how religion thing was being disliked...and when chankya did it ...i saw people taking names that chanakya was wrong...he shouldn't have done that...when olympia did the same...it came down to they shouldn't pit religions ...and how olympia was so fiery and strong facing anusuya...nobody ever said that olympia shouldnt have done that ...balki she was a bigger defaulter than chanakya at least in my eyes. That's why, i had made that statement.
Above all though, I am 😡 with the CVs for their lack of consistency with characters or tracks. They have destroyed Alexander and Chanakya's characters in a ridiculous way. The others are fictional so they may have some leeway, but these two are legends about whom we have tons of information from reliable historical sources! With Alexander, they are even going against all the good things they showed about him in the early episodes! Yeh CVs kabhi nahin sudhrenge.
That's something i agree with...if cvs had reliable sources...they should have tried going history way...but i feel their intention is to show a masala show then to display history...because i believe this sudden twists and turns attract new audience and makers only care about more and more people joining in...their intention is clearly not to make people aware of the real history...they feel it will make it bring...they wish to keep audience guessing ...aage kya hogawith every episode.. and this intention was from day one...warna itna bada age ka jhol nahi ho sakta tha ...ki alex and porus took birth on same day. ...why was it shown like that...taaki logo ko interesting lagein ki woh do soulmates ki kahani dekhne waale hain. 😆
