Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 not a biopic anymore?.

Hrithik Roshan is currently gearing up for
his upcoming film Super 30. The film was
earlier announced as a biopic on
mathematician Anand Kumar, who runs a
coaching academy with the name Super 30,
and trains 30 selected underprivileged
students free of cost to crack the IIT-JEE
examinations.
However, recently IPS Abhyanand, who
claims to be a co-founder of Super 30, has
accused Anand of deceit. He, along with
parents of Anand's students, have alleged
that the mathematician has made several
false claims to sell both his
organisation and his story. Owing to this,
the makers have taken note of the situation
and have made a few changes in the story.
Now, as per a report in Mid-day, director
Vikas Bahl, and producers, Sajid Nadiadwala
and Madhu Mantena have decided to release
the film as a fiction story, instead of treating
it as a biopic, to ensure a smooth release for
the film. It will now be a story of a common
man who succeeds against all odds and is
engaged in the social cause of educating
underprivileged children for free.
A source revealed to Mid-day, "Since the film
is in post-production, they are considering
removing all references to Anand. While it
will revolve around a Math whiz whose
coaching institute becomes successful, they
will categorically not call it a biopic
anymore."
For the uninitiated, earlier this year, Anand
Kumar claimed that 26 out of his 30
students have cleared the IIT-JEE 2018 exam,
but when asked to show the credentials
supporting his claim, Kumar failed to do so.
In an expose by Dainik Jagran, it was also
revealed that several students whom he
claimed to be a part of Super 30, actually
belonged to other coaching institutes. It
was also reported that the students seeking
admission to Super 30 would get asked to
join Ramanujan School of Mathematics, an
institute which allegedly earns Kumar Rs 1
crore per annum. Anand Kumar first shot to
fame on KBC hosted by Amitabh Bachchan
where he went on to win Rs 25 lakhs.
