She is not in that many movies. Since 2012, she s had 1 movie per year all years except in 2014 and 2016 when she had 3 movies.

Thats what even I am not understanding..

I get the KJo lobbies roles for Alia thing..but I I don't understand its because of Kjo and Alia that other Actresses are failing thing.

Alia very rarely does more than one movie per year...its not like she is doing all the movies produced in a year hence others are not getting opportunities..she is taking one good movie away from others per year.. the rest of the roles are open to everyone else...if they are not clever/hard-working/lucky enough,iss mein KJo-Alia ki kya galti..if only one good role per year(going with th e all good movies goes to Alia chant)is being made in Bollywood ,uss mein KJo-Alia ki kya galti?

lobbying roles for her puts her at an advantage, and puts her in the best films that her competitors could have potentially been a part. its an unequal playing field which isnt fair at all. and she gets upset when people dont call her self made and comment on nepotism. kjo got her highway and dear zindagi two films that really did good for her career. If she was an ooutsider, she would have never gotten highway. and that too working with imtiaz ali in your second film is a big deal. And if I remember correctly, ranbir kapoor was promoting her in some interview as if she is expected to be some star. no outsider gets that, eve outsiders who have talent dont have people rooting for them the way alia has. its the support and favortism that puts people off and makes her unprofessional imo. the whole kjo association in general is unprofessonal. too much of a personal and professional mix in the industry will limit its potential. I dont hate alia..i like her to an extent..but she is for sure not the best out there.

hate her so much. get the best movies with my fave actors like rk. can't tolerate her. undeserved success. whole career served on platter n pls don't bring success. people don't have options from new generation actress when Aliya gets the best offers. they only know Aliya.

she is no self made and will never be a true superstar

n most annoying thing is that she is promoted as best thing happened to bw

Nobody cares about critical acclaim in the industry. Box office talks. Highway was a flop like most of Imtiaz Ali movies.

She gets the best offers because she is the best. Almost all of her movies work. Why wouldn't directors want to work with her? You really think Raazi would have done 126 crores with someone like Shraddha instead of Alia?

raazi worked because of content actually more. alia is not a massy crowd puller. shraddha appeals more to the mass and thats a fact. alia acts good but she does not have any star appeal imo
