In 328 BC Alexander invades Punjab in Northern India and defeats King Porus at the battle of the Hydaspes.

Reaching River Hyphasis his soldiers mutiny and force Alexander to turn back, following the Jhelum, a tributary of Indus river, to the sea.

He was regarded as many names in many regions of the world.

But wat does the Sony TV serial will do...

I wish they dont change the History...

I read that everywhere Alexander went and conquered, he established cities even named them after his own name and loved ones, also built libraries and other places of learning👍🏼
I probably missed it, but what did he established in India or rather the India he knew then, as even after his death his generals ruled these kingdoms for some time.
Oh well, I know I should google for the information myself... however, can someone give me a clue under where to search.
Is this question appropriate here, if not, I shall delete 😳

In India he established a beautiful community called Kalashas. He made a city named after his horse

Alexandria Bucephalous (also variously known as Alexandria Bucephalus, Alexandria Bucephala, Bucephala, or Bucephalia), was a city founded by Alexander the Great in memory of his beloved horse Bucephalus.[1][2]Founded in May 326 BC, the town was located on the Hydaspes (Jhelum River), east of the Indus River.[2] Bucephalus had died after the Battle of the Hydaspes in 326 BC. The garrison was settled with Greek and Iranianveterans and Pauravas locals.[2] It had large dockyards, suggesting it was intended as a center of commerce.

Alexander wasn't a plunderer. He conquered but never killed any civilization
