Glossing only glossing over the updates,I felt like sharing this real scenario with you fans(?) My illiterate maid with twelve year old daughter told her life story. The day her husband gave away his money and ancestral house to his sister, this lady walked out saying a husband who cannot trust and feel responsible to his wife is not worth having and threw the mangalsutra on his face and is leading a hard but peaceful life.
Now what prevents a highly educated woman have her pride and life intact without that scum of a husband.Love...my foot that was never there.may be lust .😡

BT cvs now onwards can neither bring us back to the show.It is doomed scenario.
I cannot believe what enthuses the leads to go through this hell show.🤢

I have a similar story too, Sahana. Our maid was married to a drunkard. Not educated, had no family support too. She had a son. One day she realized there was no point living with a husband like that. She walked out on him. She put her son in school and gave her name as her son's last name when she admitted him. She didn't want that man's name even in her son's life!! Good for her.
Yeah, this story is so crappy and and so insulting, especially for me as a woman. A highly educated Pragya who has worked as a professor does not have to live a life like this. I don't like how writers have cast her character. I wish they showed her as someone who thinks of herself and her happiness too. I can't see how someone can love anyone who thinks the worst of you. About Abhi's love for her - well, I don't think he ever loved her. It was more guilt that he did her wrong in revenge marriage. That's how I see their relationship. Love is not shown as positive and fulfilling. Masochistic, as you said.😆

The show was out of top5 only once in past few weeks, otherwise is consistently at #3 or 4..the PH and channel are still making good money and so are the leads/actors.. there are always news on how they are among the top paid.. money, fame, fandom, and its just their job.. like what a lot of us might be navigating daily..

Hope you trust the BARC ratings and how shows go off air owing to poor ratings.. as long as there are ratings, there are ads and revenue 😊

I feel this show is a classic example of how formula stories work in TV. Ekta is known for her typical formula for tv serials - a good girl who meets with all kinds of problems in her life, her struggles and hardships. Hard to believe that even today such themes are popular! I'm not saying all Indian women's lives are going great. But I feel they handle their problems differently than what's shown here. There's a huge disconnect between average Indian girl's real life and tv serial girl's life. Obviously there's a market for such themes!!😆

I agree ratings wise the show is doing great. But I'm skeptical of BARC too. It's a bit better than the system before, but BARC is mainly advertisers and media groups. It's not an independent 3rd party. They have a vested interest in the show because if the show does well, they do well too!!😆 How do I know they're not cooking up the numbers just to make sure they can get their ad revenue??

Whatever is story behind ratings, if we leave that, have u seen a show in top5 going off air other than the ones which are supposed to be for limited episodes like naagin series..point is when revenue is not affected, why will they want to show better content?? This lazy writing is working for them and will continue to be..

Totally agree!! High ratings is the reason nothing changes in the story. Not sure how ratings are going to change. Maybe viewers should just boycott the show to get any meaningful changes. But honestly, not sure if the story can be redeemed at this point. Abhi and Pragya as a couple are destroyed.

I don't want to compare real life incidents because this show is anything but realistic. But even as fiction, I can never say that the leads are in love. May be stuck to the idea everyone around planted in their head that they are "best Jodi"
A man who can marry someone like tanu is not worth to be anyone's friend or family. Pragya character looks pathetic for pinning over this kind of disgusting person.
Also what kind of male lead they are showing to us? Someone provides shelter to criminals and treats his own wife(both pragya and tanu) dirt. Abhi has toxic ego but no self respect.

Still remember think it was episode 134,where Pragya tells Abhi' love I never believed,marriage..now I have lost hope and at present life Itrust..I don't want to lose that too by remarrying.
Is it the same serial now? of course I moved on from this long back.
