Barun Sobti roped in to play Mr. Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot

Ekta Kapoor has quite literally taken over
the internet lately. Earlier last month, she
announced that the remake of her
decade-old iconic show Kausautii
Zindagii Kay will be remade with a fresh
cast and new faces will take over the
iconic characters. This sparked curiosity
amongst the fans and media, about who
will play who in the reboot show.
Rumours were rife that actors like Barun
Sobti, Ssharad Malhotra, Parth Samthaan
were being considered for the role of
Anurag Basu. Now, PeepingMoon.com
has learned that BARUN SOBTI will be
portraying the character of MR. BAJAJ in
the new show and not Anurag Basu.
However, no official confirmation has
been received yet.

Erica speaks on being compared in
Kasautii' remake
Amidst the speculations and rumours,
Ekta took to her Instagram handle to
announce the leading lady of the show
who will be replacing Shweta Tiwari for
the role of Prerna Bajaj. In a video and
the first promo of the show, she
revealed that Erica J Fernandez of Kuch
Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi fame will be
getting into the skin of moral, sensitive
and righteous Prerna.
Rumours mills are also abuzz that Hina
Khan of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame
will be portraying the role of television's
iconic vamp Komolika.
Interestingly, a few reports state that
Parth Samthaan is not in the running to
bag the role of Anurag Basu previously
played by Cezzanne Khan. Out of the blue,
a new name has joined the league and it
is Abhimanyu Chaudhary of Shamitabh
fame who is also being considered for
the same role.
With all the buzz around the show, we're
waiting for the TV Czarina herself end
the speculations and suspense with an
OFFICIAL announcement.

what omg if Erika as prerna wasn't killing the show for me and her annoying fans surely made me hate it already. that soptea can't act to save his life. n his fangurls and fanboys r the most annoying bunch on tv😆His transition from ruthless businessmen to a good hearted man was perfect. sorry soptea can't do that. his diction is unclear and his nose hair r very distracting .. his constipated expressions make me feel like he hasn't seen toilet for days
