The colonel being ok with his daughter marrying a bad guy seems ok to me... Coz if he's a good guy he might oppose the colonel if he finds his truth & the colonel probably might not want that.

But what I don't get is... how is he ok with his daughter marrying a guy who according to him used to sell girls? What if in the future the guy sells off his daughter??
