FF the Broken Ties Part4 -- Mihir Tulsi thank Arjun(Parth)... Pg1
HE was walking on an empty path in the shadow of the lonely night. Memories of the past were overpowering his sense of reality and had him lost in the darkness of his own mind. Those eyes, that smile, the lips that said his name for the first time: everything flashed in front of his eyes. Suddenly, the howling of the wind broke his chain of thoughts and his eyes fell on the silhouette at the end of the road. The only visible feature was its eyes. Those eyes that his heart can recognize even in a huge crowd. For a moment he froze. Slowly, he began to walk towards it, afraid that it will turn out to be his imagination once again. The silhouette smiled, and its eyes sparkled just the way he remembered. It began to run in the opposite direction, away from him. He tried to stop it, but his voice never came out. The melodious laugh changed into a horrifying cackle. He blinked and saw the silhouette falling with its eyes turning hollow.
"Riya!!!", he woke up yelling. Beads of sweat stuck to his forehead and his entire tank was wet. The clock read 3:00am. He looked around trying to find her, only to realize he was in his room. So, it was all a dream...no not a dream. It was a nightmare. He had the same nightmare every night and there was nothing he could do about it. He wiped his face and went to kitchen to drink a glass of water, knowing that sleeping that night was no longer possible.
His feet stopped in front of a portrait. Millions of emotions were expressed in his eyes love, pain, sadness and longing. His eyes narrated a story no one had the courage to hear. His mind took him back to the times they spent together and the way they were separated.
"Kyun chod kar chali gayi mujhe. Tumhare bina ek dum akela ho gaya hoon. Khud se hi main door ho gaya hoon. Aaj bhi tumhari har ek cheez yaad hai. Khush ho na mujhe iss tarah tadap tadap ke jeete hue dekhkar? Galti meri hi hai ki maine tumse kehne mein der kar di. Bas ek baar wapas aa jao. Main vaada karta hoon tumhe khud se door kabhi nahi jaane dunga. Please just come back to me...", he was talking to the portrait. He drowned in her completely.
Her black eyes that were the mirror to her soul. Her lips that were always stretched in a smile. Her smile that could attract anyone towards her. The sound of her anklets every time she took a step. She could never see anyone sad and never failed in bringing happiness in anyone's life. She never let her pain dim the charm she carried. Tears in her eyes were needles in his heart.
His eyes shifted to the bracelet kept beside the picture. Red flashed in front of his eyes. Her screams echoed in his ears. He quickly closed his eyes to escape the brutality of her death. But the only thing he could see was her face...both smiling and in pain. Tears rolled down his eyes, thinking that he failed to save her. I'm sorry. Please forgive me...Yeh sab meri galti hai. I am really very sorry.
He was startled out of his reverie by the ringing of his phone. He quickly composed himself and answered the phone without looking at the caller ID.
"Hello, ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte speaking."
