You are like the sister
That I never had
You are the good in me
When I wanted to be bad
You took care of me
When scars is all I had
From too many broken hearts
You were there to make me glad

When I cried at night
I could hear the concern in your voice
You told me things would be alright
That it was my choice
That I could be strong if I wanted to
I just had to believe in me
And that if I didn't think I could
You were believing in me

You told me to count on you
That you would never let me down
That if I ever needed a shoulder to cry on
You will always be around
And I let myself become your friend
And you became more to me
You became thicker than blood
You became more than family

And I just want to write these lines
To tell you "thank you"
That if it wasn't for you back then
My heart would still be broken in two
You were there to listen
To all my stupid stories
And you laughed with me
When I shared my memories

I will never forget you
You will always be in my heart
And no matter how far you are
No one will tear us apart
Your my sister, confident
I tell you all my secrets
All my inner desires
And all of my regrets

I am truly lucky
To have you till the end
Thank you for coming to me
With open arms and a smile
Now that I have you around
