My column for episode 24

Episode starts with Kanak seeing KMB papers in Uma's house and plans to elope with the papers. Massisa says that now they have to take blessing of very important member which is Uma's mother who is the head of the house. Kanak hopes may be his mother is not like him she will understand her and give her papers and release her from here. But all her hopes shattered when she sees Uma's mother who is a bedridden lady and cannot move her hand as well. Massisa introduce her to Uma's mother though Uma was hesitated first that what would be her introduction as he doesn't know her name as well

But Massisa assure him that she will tell it to his mother. After reaching to room Kanak and Uma's mother look at each other with the hope. But none of them can help as both are now in bondage situation but when Massisa introduce Kanak as Uma's wife Kanak touch her feet out of respect not fear and she also bless her.

Uma still wants to know about her just than Kanak phone rings and gabbasa hand over her bag which has her phone Suman tells to Uma that now everything will be solved as by her phone we can know her family details Kanak think about what Uma can do with her family so she deliberately throw her phone in fire. Suman shouts at her that since marriage she is throwing tantrums they are very lenient with her but she is not ready to understand and now she had thrown her phone as well. Massisa shuts Suman and tells to Kanak to look around she has got everything that a girl can dream of a husband like Uma this house and each and everything and as far as marriage is concern she was not ready hence it has to be done forcefully it's better if she accept this. Kanak didn't say a word but Suman again starts blaming her but this time Uma shuts her down saying whenever she will be comfortable she will tell about herself and till than no one will force her.

This scene shows the double standards of the family members that they are not ready to understand Kanak situation her fear her frustration her anger she had thrown her phone which was her property not anyone else but still they have problems and her brother forcefully married a stranger and they doesn't see any wrong in it whereas most of them are women not even sympathy but they don't want to understand as well 😡

Saras takes Kanak to Uma's room and on the way tell her that her actions are hurting him a lot . fire is in one of the elements which is consider as pure and that's why while marriage husband and wife take vows around fire and she has dumped her phone in it. It has insulted the element. Oh girl your brother had insulted a girl her wishes her honor by forcefully marrying her and every human being is the combination of 5 elements and this is nothing in front of what he has done. 😡. Still Kanak apologize for her behavior and say that she doesn't want to insult anyone but if her behavior has hurted them so she is sorry.

Suman was upset as Uma has shouted on her but Massisa says that he had done it not because he thinks Kanak is right but today he will not upset her because today is there golden night and he doesn't want to upset her new bride.

Saras leaves Kanak in the room saying now the room also belong to her. Kanak search for the papers but doesn't find it anywhere. On the other hand vansh was trying to call Kanak though it was ringing first but now it's not ringing as well. He was suspecting something wrong might not happen to her but Golu assures him that may be she is busy and will call later on.

Uma was on the way to his room when Massisa teases him about he is desperate to meet his wife hence now will not have time for them and let him go palomi remember that water is in bathtub which may cause him trouble but payal say that today this small problem will not matter for him.

Kanak was searching for the papers when Uma arrives with luggage she was scared Uma try to console but she locks herself in bathroom and put things so that he cannot come. He tries to say that she doesn't need to do this as panditji had said something and after hearing she may decide. But Kanak was in no mood to listen she says sometimes panditji sometimes shivji why everyone is saying to him 😆 she opens the tap so that his voice cannot be heard he says that to waste water is not a good thing. While in bathroom the light goes off Kanak is scared of darkness she tries to go out but outside Uma is there. Today is the most difficult day for her as like a long never ending nightmare.
