Chanakya's shikha is tied in a knot still , so he had not met dhanand yet coz after meeting dhanand chanakya got insulted , he opened his shikha & promised till he will avenge his insult , he will not tie his shikha. So i guess dhanand's entry is pending

Tied in a knot? I thought it was open? I must go and look again at some shot of him from the back.

am almost sure it is open , which is why I had felt that this was after his humiliation in the court of Magadha,

You were right, Deepika. I saw tonight very clearly that Chanakya has a knot in his hair very low down.

So this is before his humiliation by Dhananand, and I am sure that is where he is headed next, to Magadha. He will come across Chandragupta there, and a new phase of his struggle will begin.

The CVs will need every side story they can think of to drag this badly limping tale to at least 210 episodes. That is 50 episodes more, and with Alexander practically ready to cross the Jhelum, that would be very difficult if the story did not branch off in new directions.

But bringing Barsine back is the ruddy limit!😡
