Though it was B-Town's night out, several stars skipped the Filmfare awards over the weekend. The Bachchans (Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya), Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Govinda, Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi, Zayed Khan, Kajol besides several others stayed away. While Sallu and Kat were performing at Praful Patel's daughter's wedding, the Bachchans are in mourning due to the recent passing away of Amar Singh's father. As a result, the stars who attended were mostly the hosts, the winners and the performers — Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and a few more. Guess the glory days of Bollwood's oldest awards are slowly fading away.

We caught up with the normally stylish Gauri Khan at the awards. First, her satin ensemble did nothing for her svelte body, then her overly tanned and greasy face looked garishly different from the rest of her body; lastly, the candy-pink lipstick and tightly scraped back hair with several loose strands sticking out just made her look older. C'mon girl, you just endorsed the cover of the fashion bible, you can't let yourself slip like this, especially when your hubby Shah Rukh Khan was the event's host!
