One more thing that I forgot. The nazar utarna scene. It was so sweet and touching, the way in which the otherwise hard as nails Olympias invokes the gods to protect her son, and the way in which Alexander laps up all this coddling, eyes closed in sheer pleasure.

Absolutely! Simplicity = beauty here.

We got another quote-worthy dialogue today that I am going to add to the other thread on Sony Alexander quotes:

Aap ka khauff mein samajh raha hoon maa, par woh Shah hi kya jo khud duniya jeete aur uski maa khauff se haar jaaye.

She did in real also before Alexander goes on to defeat thebes...she and cleoptra gave their blood to dinosyus in a ritual to make him invincible...cleoptra also had huge role in his life

It really was a beautiful thing to watch. Laps up is a good way to describe it. I also loved how she took his hands to touch the gold coins and how he just surrendered to her activities. Also later, how he insisted that Chanakya accept his mother's donation. 😃

Really? wow!

I wish we'd seen more of Cleopatra or at least heard of her during some conversations since she was dearly loved by the Sony and real Alexander too. In fact, in this show, one of the few times Alexander smiled was when he saw her in Macedonia.

Beauty with brains 😃

She is very very talented but still very down to earth, and I hope we see more of her on our screens.
