Title says it all..

I find it ridiculous how you can't compare an actor or a movie on a forum that is all about the show business.

Isn't that what a forum is for? to have a discussion and debate with fellow posters?

What's the purpose of a poll if you can't compare? it's useless in the current format

I find this very strange, first forum i have ever seen do this.

Mods, Can you please leave this open as i want to see the views of the posters on this forum

They are in a way allowed. Mods only close those topics after they have run their life.

Nope

If you opened a topic for example of which movie will win the clash/which film is better between film A and film B, it will get locked straight away and mods will say comparison topics are not allowed

I used to run an annual "BEST ACTRESS" poll. It was a lot of fun. I think the winners were something like:

2014: Madhuri Dixit

2015: Sridevi

2016: Kareena Kapoor

But last year the topic as closed.

They need to allow comparison topics again, i think they banned it because trolls would make silly topics (IE Salman vs Johnny Leever, who is better looking) and compare silly stuff that would get the bashing started

Mods should monitor the situation and close troll comparison topics and leave the legit ones open for discussion

comparison topics iss liye not allowed hai ki we compare everything from head to toe in every thread. then whats the need of separate topic?

so next time se you can compare anything with everything. but dont use the word 'comparison', simple.

One member went on opening like 100s of comparison topics one after another and spammed the whole forum. Everyone got really pissed off ,mods too and made the rule of no comparison posts.😆
