I really want to know what is a pardonable offence? Ruksaar can get away with an attempt to murder and attempt at molestation, and be forgiven, and welcomed home with open arms but Zara has to pay a price for speaking the truth? Infact, Ruksaar was quickly married off to an innocent man from whom the truth (not about her being in love with Kabeer but about what she did with him) was hidden, this according to Kabeer is not wrong, according to Kabeer and company, murder and molestation is a pardonable offence but speaking the truth is not, and an honest person needs to pay a price. Zara is hailed when she lets Ruksaar off but Zara is wrong when she speaks the truth against her husband. Instead of questioning himself and introspecting, he is questioning Zara's loyalty? Isn't this hypocrisy?
If only he had the presence of mind to act maturely and not create a scene in a public place with witnesses who can testify against his misbehavior, none of this would have ever happened... this is really a bad reason for divorce and takes us backward and will stop many women in standing up for the truth for fear of being abandoned! It would be great if Zara could create similar circumstances, where she does something wrong and see if Kabeer would have chosen to lie to save his wife or would have chosen truth, especially when he knows that his wife was wrong.
So according to me Kabeer should repent and Zara should show him why he was wrong, not try to romance him and cajole him but show him why her actions were justified. He is a fool if he can forget what they have been through in Kashmir and the beautiful bond they have created with each other, and let her go, it would be a shame!
