its actually pathetically sad. its one thing to realize that you may not have been what your husband needed in life but its something completely different to completely take the guilt onto herself and by default shift all the blame onto aditya as well for their respective spouses cheating. pooja and yash were not children, they were conscious adults capable of voicing their feelings and opinions and CHOSE not to. they were unhappy and wanted to leave their spouses all well and good but they werent exactly in abusive terrible relationships. they CHOSE not to let on their unhappiness to their spouses and instead cheat. pooja had known adi forever. its not like his personality came as a shock. she didnt just suddenly realize that they dont have common interests. and with yash if zoya being a fairy princess given her was such an inconvenience why didnt he just leave her? and lets even give them the benefit of the doubt and say they were totally shocked at the way their spouses were- that still doesnt justify their cheating. what they did was NOT zoya-adi's fault. period. it was completely their faults. theres a milestone of difference between being a bad spouse and not being the right partner for your spouse. zoya's severely chauvinistic internalization of guilt does a great discredit to females everywhere. it even glorifies internalizing guilt over these incidents. zoya's parents should give her the smacking she clearly didnt receive as a child and take her to a psychologist. she needs therapy.

Waseem tried to put senses into Zoya but her mother made Zoya realize that Zoya was not there for Yash when he needed her, filling her with the guilt. Zoya voiced about no one cared to explain to her certain things. Yash never cared to bother Zoya about his problems, something you should do if you are in long distance relationship. I am pretty sure Zoya would have shifted with Yash for him. But Yash wanted to keep on cheating & 2 timing & that's why used Zoya's love for Massourie as an excuse. He knew Zoya was naive & used this quality of her for his own benefit. Something Mahi does as well.

Her mother's speech made my nerves grate- yash clearly thought zoya was an intellectual unequal. he never told her anything about his problems. the only thing i would fault zoya for in the slightest is not trying to bridge between their parents and themselves. other than that, the financial troubles are all yash's own. how the hell would zoya know? there is a culture of blaming women for everything. if you ask too many questions about finances then you are a nag who is driving them to seek other women. if you dont then you are unsupportive. if you dont let on any issues then how would your wife even get to asking if theres anything wrong? you can never do anything right. and zoya has fallen into that trap hook line and sinker. but she does need to see a therapist to stop this insistent internalizing of guilt. if your spouse isnt working out for you then seek separation, not another partner whilst still being with your spouse. if you are in a relationship thats understood to be monogamous on both parties then if you cheat, you are a cheater. thats it. theres nothing more to it. no amount of juzbaat makes it right. if you are cheating on your partner for any other reason than them being terrible people, then you are terrible. acknowledge and move on. nobody has the right to string people along and punish them for being not the right partner for you. ive been in zoya's shoes and its hard. but the first step is to not allow yourself to take the responsibility for their bad behaviour when you have not behaved badly. the society will do that enough on your behalf.
