My highlights...
Saddi/Meera taunted Vivaan slightly during he balloon scene, stating that he must never make any mistakes but credit to him he admitted that he did. 😊 So despite what others may think of his attitude, he carries the burden of his faults. Meera wanted to make Vivaan feel better but this was also about making him realise how he had mistreated her...
As expected Vivaan is quick to go to Meera once his started the process of admitting his faults...
The 'Ae dill hai muskil..' sequence was nicely presented and different. It gave us an insight into Vivaan's state of mind. Arjit was very good and his performance subtle.
Vivaan remembered raising his hand at Meera, how he held her hands when her bangles fell and his present self could the meet her eyes. He remembered his hospital moments anger too. All these were recreated as MeerVaan in isolation and not as flashback which added to the feeling of Vivaan being trapped by his own thoughts. Meera's final echo seemed to haunt him the most, that she was not affected by him anymore. His loneliness was visible then...
When Vivaan first slipped, Meera's reaction was notable. Did she know he would come? He looked visibly shocked by the pregnancy truth and yes, he could have fallen. Which made this moment unexpectedly amusing but it was alarming for a moment. 😊 Meera's dedication to helping Vivaan is commendable but her feelings for him are confusing. I suppose we have to wait for the Pammi Kapoor chapter to finish before we will see Meera question why she cares so much for Gunna Master's happiness. Are we seeing Meera become more like Vivaan as Vivaan becomes more expressive?..
The 'Dharak..' song lyrics suited MeerVaan's situation and Vivaan feelings nicely. Once again the sequence was beautifully presented. It symbolised more than the fact that, he would always be there to support her. When Vivaan untwisted the net curtains/parda from around Meera, it was as if he were lifting a wedding veil. Or the veil was being lifted from Meera's eyes and she was looking at him or how he felt, for the first time.😊
Their apologies were from the heart felt but bittersweet. Meera thinks they are lifted from all obligations and relationships due to admitting their individual mistakes but Vivaan is left holding on and she will not allow him to speak...They seem to have come full circle since the start of their journey...
