Mehak & Dev

Just following on from a comment in another thread.

Mehak is a character many of us will dislike. Its quite clever the way they have shown Dhwani responding to her as dev's wife and her bringing of flowers etc as a charming gesture. That echoes the response of new viewers who would not know why Dev has so much anger for Mehak.
The rest of the clues:
- The accusation that "you stole my family" with flashbacks to Meera, Avi & Zohra Apa (miss them)
- Narvekar angrily calling her your murderous wife
- the depictions of Mehak as a stalker planting cameras just like Dhwani's stalker hidden behind a loving gesture
- showing her jealousy & threats to Dhwani

Really show a determination to show her as negative. After all that I hope to god though they don't show Dev forgiving her and accepting the so-called child, that would be such a clich. In a way I am glad Dev has not lashed out and said first "how do I know the child is mine" as even though it is very appropriate & should come up some time it would be again an echo of all those men rejecting their wives due to their suspicions - too typical.

But despite dislking the character I do think her presence adds a spice to the show.
Pooja has done a great job and looks perfect for the role. UUp to now her expressions have added the right ambiguity although we can clearly see she's turned a much darker grey over the course of 3 episodes. Nicely done!

on the contrary I think that pooja still needs to brush up her acting skills..I still don't see any improvement in her acting in season 2..don't want to sound harsh but I think she doesn't portray emotions too well and looks quite bland all the time..can't relate to her character at all
