Depressed karthik - what is the way forward??

Am feeling really really bad for Karthik. . All these days after the leap I was angry with hid constant temper and breaking things.. but yesterdays episode shows how depressed he is.. he is not able to live without her and she still affects him and he is not able to accept that she took the help of soneone else when he had told her he ll take care of the matter.

He is drunk always either with alcohol or in their sweet memories or both. He needs solace and that can be found only with her and no one else. I wish he keeps on blabbing I love you naira I love you naira and naira realises she is still the same for him.

Given the situation if Karthik is not given personal or professional help he may end up becoming like shubam . He is repressed to the core and requires attention right away.. he is definetly more vulnerable now than what naira is.

I would like manish to know of his drinkING habit and give his son a good slap and remind him that addiction had already cost one life in the family which is the reason for all his senses.

I just have to say this.. the PH really loves Momo/Kartik 😆 The lighting, the bar set-up, the dialogues.. everything together makes you want to root for him so much. Your heart breaks for this broken soul. And the amazing performance takes the scene to another level 👏

The scene where he sees Naira .. the expressions.. guilt, anger, tears, alcohol effect.. everything was portrayed so beautifully.. the lights in the shot where he was sprawled on the chair. with phone in one hand and alcohol in another was brilliant. These little things add so much to the narrative. Excellent work.

Yesss! A distraught Kartik, especially at the hands of an awesome DoP is yummiliciously portrayed by Momo, and comes up as a convincingly heartbroken lover, sniggering at all the potential premis in paradise. 🤣

But Shivangi is not far behind with her acting skills either. I think her arc as the brash spoilt princess of Naitik who used to take the whole world's worries on her shoulders before the leap has come full circle with this new subdued Naira who lets her feelings out silently through flowing tears and almost always lowered eyes. Preleap she was confident of the love Kartik had for her, and hence kissi bhi situation mein family members ke against bhi ladne ko khadi ho jaati thi. Post leap, her confidence in herself broke the day Kartik said "I hate you too." Specially when it was while she was trying to reconcile with him.

Yesterday Shivangi was amazing with the way her eyes silently yet accusingly looked at Kartik... somewhere in her mind, while she was trying to see what the separation has done to her husband, she was also coming to terms with the fact that, Kartik's family and especially his Mom, had stood by and let him go to pieces like that. What was even more shocking for her later was that, he did this everyday and his family did not mind it.

That look in her eyes gave me hope that, she will become a sherni again for this idiotic mendak, who has learnt to drown his tar-tar in alcohol.

I would like a track where Sherni confronts Maata Suwarna, and tells her she did not leave her husband in the mother's care for him to go to pieces like this. I want the bahu to give her saas some home truths... I want this all to come full circle and smack back right into Suwarna's face.

For her to know, bass jaan jaane se aur sabko sab kucch batane se kucch nahi hota. You cannot fight with destiny. Death was written in Shubham's stars, so he died. It was not because of Naira that he died, he died because of his own arrogance and weaknesses.

I am waiting for the day (I don't particularly know if it will come, but we can always hope) when Sherni comes into her own and goes gun blazing into the wall Suwarna has built around herself and her son. It would be lovely if Naira chir-faads the idiotic notions that this mata is paallo-ing. 😆😉 I loved the way Naitik sunaoed her that day, Naira needs to do a season 2 on that.

Only something like that can bring this woman down from the soap box she is currently standing on. And it will be a fitting way to end the depression of Kartik. Just imagine sherni in action, and mendak standing around with his mouth open, training his gol gol eyes on the love of his life. This "take the world on a ride" attitude of Naira's is what he had fallen for in the first place.

Its a sure shot way out of his depression. All Kartik ever has wanted was someone to love him implicitly. And this would be it. 😛

One of the scenes which made me like Mohsin as an actor was when I had just started watching the show and Kartik drunk dials Naira during Akshara's accident. He was sooo adorable in that ❤️

Like, cute and sweet and dumb because he was driving also and Naira was like stop driving 😆

And yes, Shivi is very good too in emotional scenes. We all know they have amazing chemistry but in emo scenes they are exceptional.

@bold: would LOVE something like that.. but knowing their track record it ain't happening. Within a week of Kaira Milan all of them will be singing dil se bandhi ek dor.. and Kaira will be planning their next samaj sewa mission 🥱
