Lot of similarities between Ranbir and SRK.

Both are known for Romantic movies only. YDHM and DDLj

Both gave record Disasters in Solo releases like Bombay Velvet and Jagga Jasoos. SRK gave record Disasters in Solo releases like Fan and Jab Harry Met Sejal.

But, Ranbir overshadowed SRK in ADHM.

Both acted in Imtiaz Ali films but Acting of Ranbir in Tamasha >>>>>>> Acting of SRK in JHMS

Same way, ADHM >>>>>> JTHJ

Ranbir shud be known as the King of Romance. Not SRK.

SRK has become like Rajesh Khanna. His mannerisms dont work anymore.

Ranbir is more Versatile and a far better Actor than SRK.

ADHM wasn't romantic. The point was to show how toxic love is which is why it was unrequited. There was cheating and unwanted sexual advances. There were no warm fuzzy feelings so I don't know how that is the movie you choose to prove this point.

If you talk about 'romance', I'd say SRK in a second.

However while speaking about the portrayal of love, especially through the eyes, I wouldn't know whom to choose, with respect to SRK's experience as an actor. Both of them are superb actors in their own way and their eyes speak volumes.

They both romance differently. Also, SRK's movies during his prime at least, were more based on him being the romantic hero than most of Ranbir's movies. Ranbir has had to romance in his movies, but he wasn't necessarily portraying a romantic hero. With that said, they both have their own unique ways of portraying romance.
