just saw KAR HAR MAIDAN FATEH ... only 29 M views ... while uske 10 din bad launched DHADAK title song got 35 M views in such short span of time ...

so now even ISHAN KHATTAR like newcomers also beated Ranbir?😲

and Sonam's charm is overshadowed by her more beautiful cousin JHANVI?😲

I can only speak for myself.. the reason I don't go back to these songs despite finding them okay/nice is because they don't have it in them that makes me want to listen to them :p

none of hirani's films had superhit music. the only time music picked up was after the release..this was the case even for 3 idiots. the music shall pick up after the release (if the film is good) and it happens with most of the films today. Times have changed..with YouTube era its hard to call a song a HIT or a flop on the basis of views/likes etc

but if a films flops then only way to recoveer money is by selling music rights etc ... even if music is that trashy and garbage ... then how will it recover ?😲

i just hope ranbir gets an average atleast ... sirf heroines ke dam pe films kab tak chalayega ... he is already down and dusted 😔

Because Hirani is tone deaf.

Many movies become hit because of the music. But in Hirani's movie, people listen to the songs only because they liked the movie.

Some of the KJo movies may look outdated now. But we still hum those songs. But Hirani's movie songs are hardly played after an year or two.

Hirani movie songs are movie related songs mostly. Unless you watch them with the movie you will not understand them. I agree with iambest they are mostly situational. The only songs of 3idiots Give Me Someshine and Kaha Se Aya tha woh have found some universal reference. And that Maidan Fateh song is really good, inspirational. Btw my favorite is this underrated gem from PK, I hardly cry but I was tearful eye after watching this. And funny thing is when I watched the movie I didnt noticed that song, because I was more interested with Aamir's acting in that song, I didn't listen much to the words or music. But later on when I watched the song in youtube and felt everything, damn what a gem of a song. Abhi Mujh Mai Kahin, Bhagwaan Hai Kaha Tu and Sapna Jahah.
