Okay. He did stand there doing nothing when his bro killed, and he should have stopped his bro's antics, but he never says anything to him, and always cover up for him,and convinces people to adjust with his bro's nonsense.

What did Mr good human being did, when Vikrant was killed? Stand there, and forget it the next second, then walk around with a microphone as if he is the center of the world, and act as if nothing happened. He also married a girl without her consent(lets see) and he is equally wrong as Yuvi and deserves to be punished.

He did kept trying to put some sense into Yuvi. He was doing what a son, a brother and a friend would do. Please go and watch the first episode again instead assuming things and making stuff up to fit your narrative.

About bold part, I think you are beating around the bush a lot, I do not buy this saving reputation argument. He sat there, and if Bela didnt see his face,she would have married her thinking its Yuvi. He betrayed her. Either you betray someone, either you dont. There is nothing in between. And also about his promise to Bela, Bela didnt go and tell him to marry her. He is a lame person who used the saving reputation card and didnt care about Bela's consent.

In indian shows, where mostly love starts with forced marriages, I acknowledge the fact that they do not value a girls' consent, but I would never normalize it, and hold it onto Mahir, because in my view, he was wrong. He seem just like his bro according to me, disrespecting women.Telling Bela to adjust with Yuvi nonsense behaviour by saying a stupid argument that Yuvi loves Bela and (she should be grateful?? that he loves you ( even if he hits on other girls) Pathetic.

@bold- I was simply referring to his actions after the wedding. He was trying his best to make her comfortable and make amends for his mistakes. In the usual serials, you would see the male lead blaming the girl for no mistake of hers and then the unwanted "pinning the wall" romance. That's what I was saying. Not that he's some devta who can't commit any mistakes.
