LOL well there you have it, folks...today I learnt that two days of crying, falling, folding hands in front of ppl was all "sharaafat"😆...that the same AU Anika who questioned Sahil for his strange language on Monday is now calling herself Khidkitod again😆...I guess that's just everyday lingo now...lol...black suit pehente hi phir se character shifted😆😆...but I won't complain much...these nuances are a welcome relief from the abla Anika of the last two epis.
Today we get slightly better insight into the triggers for this Anika...when it came to Sahil, she cried and pleaded but didn't push back...but when it comes to protecting Gauri, a fieriness shows...she was willing to throw a kadhaai full of hot oil to prove that she's willing to do anything to protect Gauri from the harsh realities of life or from their mother's truth. So the trigger has changed, the fire is still there, but still somewhat dimmed...I appreciated SC's attempts to show a toned down version of a fiery Anika...she was firm, clearly angry but there was a kind of dignity about her even in anger...
I did LOL over the plastic containers that got burnt by the hot oil😆
Anika's folder with her name written on it in Hindi is cute :) So she's off to a job IV...and will very likely run into either Shivaay or Tia at the place😆
Speaking of Shivaay, the apathy continues...still aloof from whatever is happening around him...OmRu dance away with Tia and Shivaay is focussed on cooking😆
Then comes some next level emotional blackmail from new Daadi😆...bechara Billu...aaj bhi blackmail hi ho raha hai as expected...lol this scene was a bit better than the previous scenes of Shivaay with the new Daadi...ofcourse the Daadi is as self-centered and obsessed with shaadi as ever but NM brought out some beautiful nuances in this scene...the vulnerability, the softness in his eyes, his love for this Daadi also even though it's hard to connect to her...lol...baat manvaate hi the Daadi ran off to plan the shaadi...it's like no one sees or cares about the ever present hollowness in Shivaay's eyes now
And then came Tia...lol some things will never ever change...Shivaay making it very clear there will never be love b/w them but Tia still clinging on😆
The way Shivaay categorically said he can never love anyone...LOL previous Shivaay scoffed at love...this Shivaay is just depressed about love cuz his parents had a bad marriage😆
And then there's Anika on the other end...who is more focussed on wanting respectability with a shaadi than any romantic notions of love...again a streak of practicality even in this AU Anika...for different reasons, they both still don't subscribe to love
Both Shivaay and Anika are marrying their "friends" this time for the sake of it...LOL and Anika is very likely getting swindled...that Nikhil guy was wearing more makeup than even the girls on the show😆...this Anika also happens to put a lot of stock on "sach"...so we'll add righteousness to the list of characteristics.
And finally the precap which sets up the premise for Awasthi's question...they are both back at the mandir again...in this AU also, Anika is questioning him for breaking the line...he will turn...but probably not see her this time😆...maybe sense her, but not see her...the meeting is for another time...lol
