It has never happened that a person played himself in his own biopic. This destroys the effect of a character. I knew that I will be compared to Sanjay Dutt and that is why I have tried my best to do justice to his role.

The idea of a person playing himself on the screen is ridiculous to the core...so there is no way that SD could have played himself as the 20 year old...so someone esle had to play the younger him ad lo behold...then comes the asli Sanjay Dutt with nakli wife, nakli papa, nakli mumma, nakli sisters...but then a guy who writes lyrics like SELFISH...what else can you expect from him?

Good reply but the fact is that a newcomer would have been a better idea as audience will see Sanjay Dutt in him pretty easily..and Ranbir unfortunately doesn't look the part
