That film's success was as surprising as PKP's and bbb's.

The songs worked but the name and posters and stuff were silly and long.

Even rk mentioned in masand iv that he liked it and had approached Luv for working together.

He is doing luv's next with Ajay.

After paying critics now Papa Johar is paying trade guys. Other movies did as much as expected from them. SKTKS had an entertaining trailer. So it was bound to open well. Other suspicious case is Hichki. But Aditya Chopra refrained from going overboard. There is Padmaavat too. I guess it started it. But still I will give it and Raid benefit of doubt.

But Raazi has done nearly 120 crores even if there is some Roshan calculator used, the movie would still have done 80-90 crores, which is still huge.

And I don't think movie's success is hoax, it was still running in many theatres, I don't think Kjo loves Alia that much that he will pay every theatre owner to keep running the movies.

Parmanu should also be in contention for one of the biggest surprise successes. Ugly legal tussle , trailer releaed 2 week before releae, low awareness, ipl final and stiff competition from other releases and yet film managed to hit 60 crore.

I think it surely deserves much more credit for its boxoffice run.
