What nonsense! Bimbisara, of Magadha, used elephants as far back as the 6th century BC, 200 years before Porus, and Dhananand of Magadha, a contemporary of Poru, s had about 3000 elephants. Porus actually tells Alexander about them after the battle of the Hydaspes, when they have become friends and in fact allies.
All those elephants were of course wild at one time, but had been caught and trained for the battlefield. Still, they were unpredictable animals, unlike horses, and if they were wounded, they often ran amuck and crushed the soldiers on their own side.
Given the historical background, where was the necessity for stuffing in all these untruths and misleading the viewers? It would not have taken anything away from the credit due to Porus for his resourcefulness if this extra, and undeserved laurel for his being supposedly the pioneer in this kind of warfare was not placed on his head.

From d starting i always thought d last war will be gud as puru will surprise Macedonian army by elephants , alex will successfully cross jhelum in rainy night surprising puru.
Now no surprise will be there from puru's side as be already showed his biggest strength 2 alexander , alexander had keenly observed elephants way of attacking, let see what he will do on monday
But in final war alexander will come full prepared & as by they he will find d way 2 tackle elephants in war.
