My column for episode 10

Sometimes the most righteous man makes the most wrongful decision and that's the case with Umashankar.

The episode starts with Uma in payal's house and payal's mother arguing with Uma that aditya has disappeared before 4 years and still they don't know the reason why and whether he is dead or alive so how could they send payal . Uma objects and says that payal is there daughter in law and whatever happens to her will be there responsibility and marriage is not a cloth which can be removed after sometime. It's a promise of seven lives and cannot be broken and if husband is not available than a married woman seeing other men is against dharam and is punishable by God and they are the ones who had asked this marriage in childhood and now they cannot broke their promise as breaking promise is again adharm so he give gifts to them and ask them to come to Temple in evening so the haldi ritual can be done and tomorrow gauna will be done and leave from there. Payal cries and says that she doesn't want to go. OMG why don't she tell her parents about ved or call ved and tell him about this she just wants to be damsel in distress and want to blame someone else for this.😡

Uma is partly right his problem is he just have half knowledge or just see negative part.

He started all this when he saw payal with other man and payal is their daughter in law so any malign on her character will be on their respect so he wants to protect her and his thoughts about marriage is also right that if the husband is away so the wife should not see other people but it's applicable if she has his whereabouts and has accepted him as her husband but it's not a case her. Let it be

In Rathi house meenakshi was serving a burger to Golu but Golu complain about cheese is missing and Rani comes with a glass of juice and meenakshi taunt her for not making burger properly. Just then Bhabho, Kanak and vansh arrives Rani ask Bhabho whether they are invited for marriage. Bhabho does not answer and leave. Kanak show her Bor which she was hiding in voodoo everyone laugh at her as who wears Bor on voodoo but Kanak insist that she will not remove it as Bhabho has put it on her and today Bhabho has helped her in shopping as well and she is very happy. Ved tells her to remove it after sometime but she is not ready to do it she says that she will not remove it while sleep and even will not do a shampoo on her head.😆

Meenakshi says that she has other surprise waiting for her and bless her all happiness in her life. Sometimes the reason for yes is that we don't have reason to say no. Mayank is a good guy, settled and earning good and his parents are also modern so there is no reason to say no hence all has accepted this alliance.

Here comes meenakshi surprise which is Daisa and other ladies of Hanuman gali who come to Bhabho and ask about rituals of marriage. Bhabho cannot say no to them and accepts and invite all of them. Now it was a time for all family members to join together and celebrate and it happen. Bhabho offer sweet to Kanak and babasa on dhol. Ved vansh Golu Rani all were dancing and at times Kanak holds Bhabho hand but Bhabho shakes her back and vikram and meenakshi also dance together. A scene which was not happening from many years. Ved vansh and Kanak enjoy it which teary eyes.

While Daisa was leaving she reminds Bhabho of other rituals and kanyadaan as well which she has to do and Bhabho gets tensed.

Meenakshi take vansh and Kanak to Temple to offer first wedding card to God and seek blessings. In the same Temple Uma is waiting for payal and her family. Gabbasa tell him if they doesn't come than should they act forcefully which Uma denies and says that force comes to the picture if they denies and adamant to follow adharm but he doesn't think they will do it.

Payal and her parents arrive and her father say that he was following path of adharm and hence God has punish them since morning the milk had spoiled, geyser has bursts and ceiling of payal room has fallen so God has given them sanket.

Like seriously if they can assume this accidents as sanket so if Uma think a sanket regarding Kanak is actually right. I mean any sane person will not believe geyser bursting and ceiling falling as God sanket or punishment . God has better things to do. Whatever.

Payal mother was asking panditji about some remedy so that payal can be safe and happy and God shouldn't punish her as it's their mistake. Kanak hears it and interrupt saying that God loves his children and it's mentioned that God is our first parent so how could he punish . Uma says that parents and teachers also punish their children if they are doing something wrong. Punishment develop respect and love. Kanak says respect and love which is develop out of fear is not true love and respect. In love the heart and mind should be free like a bird in open sky . Uma says that if we let our hearts free it bound to make mistakes hence discipline is important.

This scene shows how contradict their thoughts are.
