Some women from USA are looking for a guest DJ

I'm an aspiring DJ and I'm looking into expanding my market audience. I was on craigslist and I noticed that some women from USA are looking for a guest DJ for their group reunion. I'm not exactly in the USA but I am willing to spend a few bucks on traveling there just to take the gig. Right now, it's not the money I'm worried about. I just really want to take this experience and hopefully, I can start landing gigs there in the States too. But what do you guys think? Would it be a wise decision to make or should I just find something else that's worth better?
