Good gesture. If Government is trying to promote what it has done and it is good then why not?
While Himmo has issues with extremists views in politics all over the world including US, one also needs to go into details and understand why has such parties of extremist views winning everywhere.
The opposition parties also need to look at themselves. Just labeling 50% population as extremists and haters is not the answer. In US for example, some issues that Himmo likes in Tump are
- tax cuts which have benefitted
- employment is high
- economy is better though Obama gets the credit
- immigration is going ok. Himmo personally knows many from good families who are Muslims who have gotten visit visas, old GC applications got approved.
- I was always against illegals and I believe in merit
- In action he is doing business with countries like SA - the custodian of Holy places
Basically there is a new game in place...u use rhetoric, instigate people on race and fear and then get votes but when time comes your hawa goes out and u come to center.
This is not ideal but not bad. There is no need to fear right wingers.
Pakistan ill soon follow this approach when liberal PPP was thrashed and center PML N wins. But now PML-N will get thrashed and right winger Imran will come.
Left wingers who I still think are better people with better views meanwhile need to analyze themselves and see where they went wrong,. Maybe its dynasty politics..maybe its corruption...maybe they gave pain to majority who became insecure and therefore played into hands of fear.
In big picture and in todays world left or right end up in center.
When people use to tell me Trump will do this and that I was like lifeis too big to fear this...it wont be as bad. And so far this is how is it. Business as usual.
