Dino to be reborn as Himesh

Dino Morea flew off to South Africa late Tuesday night to join the cast of Satish Kaushik's Karzzz, based on Subhash Ghai's 80s film. The actor has been called in to play the character of Ravi Verma, which was essayed by Raj Kiran in the original.

Dino will find himself starring opposite Urmila Matondkar, who will be playing the role made famous by Simi Garewal in the original. Several names were being tossed around for the role in this T-series project, till it was finally decided that Dino would play Mr Moneybags, who is reborn as a singer, a role being played by Himesh Reshammiya. According to sources, the producers want to keep Dino's character under wraps for now. They are also working on giving him a distinct look It is learnt that Dino's character will be an extremely suave, sophisticated character. Though his character gets killed in the first half, he will keep making appearances throughout the film, as he is supposed to haunt his killers.
