Hola guys,
sorry for spamming.. but am unable to stop myself.. This AdiYa as I keep saying will be the end of me..

After seeing the spoiler video today, I cant help but wonder about Aditya and his love for Pooja.. He was ok refusing her things.. not accompanying her to her poetry/ ghazal sessions.. whereas here we see him go all out for Zo... doing new things etc..

My question is.. would he have attended those 'boring' poetry sessions if it had been Zo doing the asking and not Pooja?

The bottomline is... is there a difference? With Pooja, the relationship stayed at friendship.. never transcended into love.. whereas with Zo, it will or it has..

Do I make sense?šŸ˜•šŸ˜• Pls folks.. mujhe is Bepannah madness se theek kar do... to quote Adi's lines šŸ˜†

Woww!! I nvr thght that! 😲
U r ryt!! Would he? Yes he wud! N thr r reasons for it!
One being... Zoya nvr forces Adi as Pooja did! Adi peacefully enjoys dng new thngs with Zoya. She teaches him n he understands... other than dominating him with options. If Adi was childish... Pooja too was childish to force him in her own way!
Another... as u said. the relationship stayed at friendship.. never transcended into love.. whereas with Zo, it will or it has..
Also in Poona n Adi's relationship... they both kinda lacked understanding n maturity!
Indeed... the transition n character growth is amazing! šŸ‘šŸ¼

Hello !
And yes, he would have accompanied her.

I think the love that he had for Pooja is in many many relationships. Its just there. Its sweet and uncomplicated. It is a kind of love that you tend to take for granted just because its always ever present. And these kind of love survive and last for years because of a strong sense of moral values and commitment. And that is why I feel that what Pooja did was just unacceptable. So Pooja fell in love... and love is only thing that can shake this kind of love. Pooja left her steady relationship for a passion that drowned her

The love that Adi shares with zoya is the overwhelming kind. Its the kind that is written in books. Its the kind that you find only if you are lucky. He would do anything for her to keep her by his side. She is his priority.

And yet I think Both Adi and zoya would not have left their spouse if they had met earlier. Because they both have this core value called commitment.

Hi Santiago,
I am a silent reader here but, seeing your post title I could not resist but had to make a comment šŸ˜†, as these same lines are revolving round my mind these days about the show. I agree to the other posts and all are well explained. But I think that's where AdiJa and AdiYa differs seriously. In the first place Aditya never feels bored when Zoya is around, no matter where they are in. Now adi reasons it as she being is entertainer, but as we all know there is more to it. So that's it AdiJa were always together, but not with each other, like they say paas hone main or saath hone main pharakh hein. So in short with AdiJa, they were both busy with their own hobbies than with each other, even when they were together. That's what I think.

Thank you for the thread😳

I think the message that this show's giving is Opposites don't always attract each other.
AdiJa and ZoSh were so different from each other. Adi loved football and Pooja hated to go with him to a match. Similarly, Adi would flatly refuse to go to poetry sessions with pooja.

Zoya loved bollywood movies and would force Yash to watch movies. Yash wouldn't say no but it was like a torture for him. He liked camping but Zoya would never go for camping.

All these factors alongwith other things drifted these 2 couples apart.

AdiYa are so alike yet so different. Their relationship has no name yet there's so much understanding between them which was missing in their previous relationships.

First of all, Zoya herself doesn't like poetry. Secondly, Adi doesnt need to go to any poetry session with her because she's a chalti phirti urdu shayari ki dukaan for him. šŸ˜† He would rather listen to her Urdu gaalis than go to any poetry session.

Joy, I agree with you in part that both adi and zo have matured and grown.. we see from zo s earlier scenes with Yash, the way she interacts with him is not the same as adi.. she sometimes handles adi with kid gloves... Makes him understand.. but with Yash, she put him on a pedestal.. failing to read between the lines about his troubles etc

Tulip, I referred to poetry sessions as a metaphor for things which Aditya doesn't like to do and not literally.. so my question is will adi do something which he doesn't like if zo asked vs. him refusing when poo asked

I love the response! So true.. not that the earlier love was exactly lagging in anything.. it would have played its course coz of the values and commitment and yes love too

But the once in a kind of lifetime lucky love is the second kind - AdiYa types. But I also like how you mention that neither of them would have made a move to break out of their respective relationships if they had met in another context.

Another lovely response! Saat hona and paas hona.. the difference of it all.. I agree with you.. AdiJa were busy with their own stuff.. also may stem from the comfort of friendship coz firendship comes with the ease of it.. not being bound.. freedom of it.. do what you want yet am there for you spacemm unlike love which comes with its bindings for it to survive and thrive..
