DABH Vs tsmsp?

Why? people compare these two serials not understanding it.

I watched both serials and they were both very good... but I can honestly say TSMSP was the better show in my opinion...

For me TSMSP is a different story from start as I always tell that apart from Bhabho nothing was in continuation and Bhabho was a different character from DABH as she is supporting her and yes I find TSMSP better than DABH but the leads are not given their screen space

Agreed... basic concept was the same in TSMSP and DABH but its not fair to constantly compare them, amd definitely unfair to say that AviRhea were less popular than DABH leads. TSMSP was just unlucky because first it was at 1pm slot, then it moved to 7pm halfway, and then it did good until SP wanted to hurridly axe it for no reason... if it had been given time the show wouldve done wonders like DABH.

I also wished that this show should have come as a different show altogether a fresh no sequel. Besides the initial beautiful episodes almost 100 If I'm not wrong happened in afternoon slot which was the major disadvantage of our show as in at that time no BB no MM only Palo and Strict Matriarch Massisa. Then the show shifted to 7 pm again really not prime time still viewers took time to connect but still trp picked up. Then to compete with colours show all rubbish was introduced. Instead of concentrating on leads and their becomeing support for each other Villans after Villans were introduced. Even BB track had potential of how people blindly believe in these Babas and how innocent people are cheated could have attracted trp but Baba just vanished. They never took advantage of this evening slot actually. They could have taken the show on different levels after BAnkok by completing Kanum marriage and then the social and political carrier of Kanaks and Uma standing with her like a rock. That was my dream after BAnkok but worst thing happened with the leap. And still in the real sense our show was distryoyed by the time new venture introduced Channel Star introduced asbiggest villan by ruthlessly closing one of the beautiful show and beautiful couple Kanum that is our biggest nightmare. Dabh had clear cut well planned plot which our show lacked or rather changed time to time. Even then it manged Decent TRP throughout. In the afternoon slot it was having 0.9 trp and look at new Marium at 7.30 pm is opened @ 0.9 so despite many hurdles our beloved show was on air with grace. Let's do all possible to bring back AviRhea who are wondering and hardworking actors.

In terms of TRPs, were they really that low for TSMSP to justify taking it off air? I can't say for sure since i'm from the UK. (where the ratings/viewers were always in the top 3 btw)

From what i've seen they always seemed stable, what was the lowest they dropped to? and how did they compare to DABH's trps on average?

How can we believe them that the trp which they are showing is true?

I personally believe that low trps wasn't the true reason for the show being pulled off air... as the show was doing reasonably well and had a really good fan base.

As for the comparison with DABH, I liked the original references to Kanak being Sandhya's daughter but I too wish they had not linked the two shows. I think linking them contributed to the shows failiure as DABH's audience were fixated around women's rights & progression, these viewers did not have the patience to look beyond Uma's initial regressive behaviour & see the potential of the show. They were too busy jumping on the abuse' bandwagon & did not give the show the time to develop. Had it of been a new show they would not have had any prior expectations.

I remember constantly defending the show on the TU page from viewers accusing it of promoting forced marriage, regression & torture... Uma's character came under so much negativity, yet viewers happily digested characters such as Shivaay from ishqbaaz. Maybe because ishqbaaz had a progressive or modern feel to it, viewers could digest it better?

I think cvs caved in to this pressure so they introduced sudden changes and a modern vibe, which caused tsmsp started to lose its way & niche.

I am gutted because I really enjoyed both shows, as they were so unique in their own ways. I remember being really into DABH but TSMSP for me was on a completely different level, it just had a different charm.

I never watched DABH and personal wasn't instrested in it but tu sooraj main Sanji piyaji was the only show that hooked me up in my tv and please don't compare this two show DABH had a good storyline that is how it managed to get a stable trp but tu sooraj main Sanji piyaji storyline was completely ruined which wasn't the fault of the actors at all but my favorite will always be tsmsp. Rhea and avinesh were amazing
