OK poets wrote and wrote about Roxane but Barsine too was beautiful...

Barsine was a kind hearted girl who lived in the shadow of her father and then in the shadow of her legendary grandmother...Alexander married her and she was send to learn Macedonian way of life. So she was being prepared as to be empress...Alexander is said to respect Barsine a lot. He didn't marry her immediately because he was on war spree...Opposite to this serial, Olympia was quite fond of Barsine and so was Aristotle...And all the generals

Roxana was really glamorous. She was very strong minded.She was obviously beautiful. Alexander was definitely smitten by him... There was also great deal of pressure from Olympia on him to get married and give a heir. Barsine was 1000s miles away. Roxana was there so he married her...She was quick to learn Macedonian culture..She was declared as the empress of Asia by Alexander himself...And we all know how this went down with everyone...

later Barsine too was given this status and everyone welcomed ...So in the end they both were loved..Though poets and story tellers talked about Roxana only may be because she was glamorous, and who don't like glamour...h

but if Olympias was so eager 4 Alex marriage & his heir, barsine was away from him 1000 miles, then Olympias would had send barsine 2 him , Alex was away but was in world only, Alex definitely dint married roxxane 4 child purpose ,there were many kings who would had offer their daughter's hand 2 Alex.

Alex definitely can kept roxxane as his concubine why then marry her when she was not of his status, if not stateira he could had married any other princess of his standard

Regarding Olympias I read she was jealous of darius's mother & Alex's closeness , wasn't happy about Persian weddings,

secondly Olympias would had stopped roxxane from killing barsine if she was so fond off her as barsine 2 was pregnant by Alexander's child

Roxxane as well stateira both r accused 2 have hand in theories of Alexander's death

Roxxane revenge from Alex to marry Persian princess

Stateira avenge darius's defeat

2 Persian princess whom Alex married in Susa were his wife definately he share a luving relationship with them ,

Person can fall in luv many time before & after marriageb

But roxxanee was said 2 be very special, important & luv of Alexandra's life. Which I never heard 4 stateira or other princess
