So after a very brief spell of hide and seek Ranbir Kapoor has confessed his love for Alia Bhatt, albeit in a guarded but affectionate tone. In an interview to GQ Ranbir has said, "It's really new right now, and I don't want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is what's the right word? flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I'm aspiring to for myself. It's new for us, so let it cook a bit.
Earlier, Alia would blush every time Ranbir's name was mentioned. Her expression said it all. Mutual friends say they saw it coming for a long time now. "When Alia was shooting for Highway ,Ranbir would often drop in to meet his friend director Imtiaz Ali. The vibes between the two of them I mean, Ranbir and Alia, not Imtiazwas palpable. They looked at each other with adoring eyes. But at that point of time Alia was seeing Siddharth Malhotra while Ranbir was extricating himself from his relationship with Katrina Kaif. So the vibes with Alia were smothered but irresistible, says a director who knows both Ranbir and Alia well.
Ranbir has been in the news for his relationships with Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. A few months ago, he was even linked with Mahira Khan! One wonders what lies in store for Alia who has never yet confessed to any of the guys she was supposedly dating. Considering the fact that pair has lots of time to spend together as they shoot for Ranbir's best friend Ayan Mukerjee's Bhamhastra, the relationship has lots of space to grow and settle down. Ranbir and Alia's fans are certainly hoping that the two hot stars become a solid couple though one wonders, at least going by Bollywood's track record, if this one will go the mile or will fizzle out after the film is over.
