308 girlfriends?
Didn't he say that was the number of women he slept with barring prostitutes? That will include many women like a friends with benefits arrangement, one night stands etc, orgies etc.

There is a saying

The true numbers for men r.. whatever number they give you.. divide that by 2

For women whatever number she gives u.. times 2

Sanjay was a rockstar.. and huge deal in early 90s.. I wouldn't say it's 50% of that number but 75% sounds about right..
