For those who are watching Kaleerein we're actually habituated with these weekend extras which have almost zero connection to the actual plot but we feel happy whenever we get one as those extras give us Meevan's romance which we can't expect in the plot as its too early.

Yes, i do remember the promos about watching your fav chars in naya andaz etc. Since ISA team has integrated with main part, sending SRK on pilgrimage and organsising anniversary etc, this totally escaped my mind and I was blown away by Sirf Mohabaht.

I'll be wary of the MEs from next time and probably won't watch since it might mess up the story in my mind, if they're gonna be standalone experiments.

They are taking advantage of popular shows coz episodic based shows dont draw attention on TV

IMO, Zee is being too clever. Colors & SP air their weekly shows on Saturdays & instead of following them they want to try some spin offs of their popular shows on weekend.

I don't see this working in the long run for all shows. may be certain audience will watch their fav actors regardless of the content and some might move away.

I hope they've something better than Sirf Mohabaht for Kabir's confession in the main story, otherwise I would say they just wasted a good scene for short term gain.

Let's revisit after few months.
