Happy Memorial Day

Well anyway I just Saw it this film and it didn't live up to the hype. The whole thing other than the bit with the servant boy was lame. All the characters were caricatures 😆 😆 It was neither here or there. Over rated

It was silly fun but way too over the top

And had Sweety not told us she was evil, would never have guessed 😆

Also they copied the entire aesthetic of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and it worked

yamyam ne saahi kaha, haar good movie 2-3 mahine baad overrated ho jata hai aur har faklandu movie underrated.

If anyone notices

the film was like a Ekta serial where the a prson is trying to save another person from getting married to a negative character.

Just the difference is in serials it is a female lead trying to save a wrong marriage from happening in her family. and with lot of hightened emotions

People tear apart those K shows..so why did the indian audiences worship Sonu Ki titu ki sweety as if it was the titannic made from bollywood?

It was entertaining i dont deny. But we have seen these plots in Tv serials. Just characters in the movie is male fighting for male.

peopel are easy to criticise Balaji..why didnt they notice this Tv serial forumala in the movie then?

indian audience also love Ekta serials hence they are superhits.

The film is huge hit among youth. and it is this youth who cry saas-bahu drama sucks all time

they dont know also they wacthed a different versin of EK show on big screen .

The thing is that is the basic premise for so many romcoms. It's not like Ekta Kapoor invented it.

Girl likes guy and guy likes hot girl who is bitchy. They just gender swapped Sonu and that was actually quite unusual 😆

It's the treatment that matters. Nobody in SKTKS has villainous background music playing or no one is running down 30,000 stairs and no one slaps someone 3 times with shock expressions on everyone's face.

And it is much more tolerable when something is 2 hours and not 2 lifetimes and 8 generations long.

I still did not know why sweety was evil... 😆 her smile at end was saying something else n I dislike half baked endings...
But I enjoyed it though I won't deny , a good timepaas without brains

That movie was very entertaining but totally lacked sense. I still don't understand why was Sweety evil and not Sonu? Both were equally manipulative. They made Titu their pet by making him dance at their respective fingers. Throughout the movie I understood just one thing that Sonu has a hunch that she is not right for Titu. Bas! Was that doubt right or wrong was never proven and the only thing we got was Sweety saying it out aloud ki woh Chalu hain. I mean Sonu and Sweety were so busy one-upping each other that whatever they did was affecting others' life too.

Bingo! Badrinath Ki Dulhania was also a pucca Ekta serial. Now the films as well as the shows are mildly entertaining hence they clicked. Now Star Plus is even making a show which seems to be a take off on BKD.
