Dard aur Marham ka Rishta <3
I. Rigor mortis
"Our death is our wedding with eternity."
"Before death takes away what you are given, give away what is there to give."
It was ironic how two joined hands could shatter two beating hearts into millions of pieces. Yet it happened. However it were just not any regular pair of joined hands, but dead joined hands frozen for eternity. Now distant and brittle, like marriages of Aditya-Pooja and Yash-Zoya.
Aditya's marriage too choked and died as the two hands continued to linger due to rigor mortis. History repeats itself, the wise men had said. Zoya, on the other hand, frantically attempted to seprate the hands. She refused to believe in her late husband's infidelity, while wearing the ring bearing the name of his lover. Destiny had stabbed them with the same knife and the blood oozing out of their hearts needed to be stopped.
II. Reality cheque
"Hum ko maloom hai jannat ki haqiqat lekin,
dil ke behlane ko Ghalib ye khayal accha hai."
"Your heart knows the way, run in that direction."
What material was Zoya made up of? Is love really that blind? No Adi, trust is blind; love is only the warmth and tenderness flowing out of hearts that makes this trust possible. But after all this, why did she still trust that cheater husband of her?
Aditya was frustrated. He too loved Pooja very deeply. Heck, she was his best-friend since he was 12. He knew every nook and corner of her heart, at least that's what he had thought. But he had been proved wrong. One look at the joined hands and he knew that his worst nightmare was back. He had learnt very early in his life the consequences of blind trust.
Bewakoof ladki. She still believed in Yash's fidelity. What did that cheater do to get this kind of deep unconditional love? From not one but two women. His Pooja had cheated on him, her Adi, her best-friend and husband, for that guy. Aditya was jealous. That guy didn't deserve so much love, not after what he had done. Aditya had to break this blind trust Zoya had on her cheater husband, even if that trust is frozen preserved like their dead spouses' hands.
Janab Aditya Hooda, before assaulting my unwavering trust on Yash, why don't you explain the 5 crore rupees cheque that you gave to your wife without any question at her request. Love and trust go hand in hand. Yash and Zoya loved each other and went against their entire universe for their love. Pooja and Yash were only friends, and Zoya Arora would go to any extent to prove Yash's innocence.
III. Fall and Rise
"Stop acting so small, you are the universe in ecstatic motion."
"Humne mohabbat ke nashe mein aakar usey khuda bana daala;
Hosh tab aaya jab usne kaha ke khuda kisi ek ka nahi hota."
Everything was a lie. Every promise, flower, gift, jewelry, everything was a lie. Why did you do that to me Yash? What did Pooja have that I did not? Aditya had been right all along. Yash did not love her, he was playing with her feelings. He even signed those divorce papers. Pooja did not. There is no ounce of doubt anymore. But, who did she fight the entire world for? What was the purpose of her life?
One betrayal doesn't end life. Aditya promised himself to rise again, live again, to find himself the true love he deserves. He was not spineless, like his mom. He might stumble and fall, but he would walk again. And he would not let another innocent, true and beautiful heart to die. Zoya too had to live. He couldn't let her die and let the cheaters win again; like on that fateful night when they froze their cheating for an eternity.
Aditya Hooda was right, yet again.
IV. Pain and Cure
"The cure for pain is in pain."
"Love is the cure, for your pain will keep giving birth to more pain until your eyes constantly exhale love as effortlessly as your body yields its scent."
What was this strange connection of pain? Could she heal him? Heck, her medicines didn't work. She had prescribed two tablespoons in two hours. Here he emptied the bottle and nothing happened. Zoya ki bacchi!
Janab Aditya Hooda, medicines of love take time to work and heal. Why doesn't he have any patience? He cannot expect all healing methods to be harsh and prompt like his. This man almost broke her fingers. Some medicines are tender, to be taken in right doses. There is no consoling after what happened, but time heals everything. The pain would go away with time, if only the wounds are tended to in regular intervals.
