The CVs have a knack of introducing characters in this fantasy world of Porus and Alexander ( it is far away from documented history atleast)

We have a kid who is the brother of Vish Kanya named Malay.

👏

Many historians called Porus/Puru as Parvateshwar and the next in line who ascended him was MALAYKETU his Son.

So now we have Malay the Son with Grandmommy Anusuya having woodoo notions that something is fishy...the ancient head of CBI .

FYI Parvateshwar was killed by a Vish Kanya. Now all I am waiting is for baby CGM. 😕

History waale Porus ka ghar,parivaar sansaar sab tha😆By the time Alex attacked India he was a middle aged man with grown up kids.

Apne Puru ki toh Shaadi bhi nahi hui ab tak😭Bacche toh door ki baat hai.

Looks like Puru will end up adopting Malay and become a single dad.Oh wait!! Malay addresses him as Bhaiya.So prolly Bamni-Anu will end up adopting Malay and he will be rechristened as Malayketu.

Jokes and distortions apart,the kiddo Malay is really cute and I enjoyed his scenes with Anusuya😳

I felt that there was nothing wrong with Anusuya trusting her gut instincts.And she was right of course.The boy was in trouble.

One small point. Malay is not the Vishkanya's brother. She kills his parents, who are villagers, and then claims that he is her brother as camouflage.

There is a lot of confusion about Malayketu. He was the son of the king of Parvatak Rajya. But both of Purushottam' s sons died in the battle of Hydaspes. It would thus seem that the Parvatak Rajya is a different one.

Also, Malayaketu was for some time an ally of Chandragupta and Chanakya, and was due to get a share of the kingdom of Magadha after the Nand dynasty was dethroned. But Chanakya is said to have sent a vishkanya to him - he was a dissolute man - and he was killed.

I actually loved the scenes with Anusuya and Baby Malay too, but she does have a tendence to sense the fishiest fish in the sea, moreover does a Maharani visit the Kitchen to know the rajcook??

Anyhow good scenes in Paurav rashtra after a long gap , I wished they had shown baby puru and alex a bit more to be trained as they are now.

What was Porus's real name?? We all know that Porus is the western version of his name

But what was actually his name?

Some say it's Purushottam,some call him Parvatkar while others say it's Parvatak and someone else says it's Parvateshwar 😕

I am super confused😕😆

Thank you.But the age and timeline confusion...will Puru and Lachi;; if Lachi were to be the wife that is..will even get time to form the Sons to existence even?

Currently they are teleported to Persia with a Galdiator War in tow.

Wasn't Porus a finite series I am confused now :|

I guess Parvatak and Parvateshwar are a single person. Porus is just a parallel timeline.

What I read somewhere is Malayketu's region was in between Jhelum and Chenub, So is Porus' and Parvateshwar's ...it's a bit confusing.

Puru and his family are big time CID fans.Isiliye they can sense whenever there is Kuch Toh Gadbad😉😆

From whatever I know,Porus belonged to the generation of Dhanananda and Ambhi Sr aka Ambhiraaj

Alexander,Ambhi Jr aka Ambhikumar,CGM and all were contemporaries.

I had also read somewhere that Ambhikumar married Porus' daughter Kalyaani.

Here by reducing Puru's age they did mess up the entire timeline and generations.

As per this show,

Puru and Alexander are of the same age and they share their birthdays

Ambhikumar and Puru are first cousins.

Is CGM even born in this alternate universe??😆

Puru and Laachi are endgame for sure.But I have no idea when they are gonna get married.Bacche toh door ki baat hai😆

Porus is supposed to be a finite series of 260 episodes and the CVs are busy showing fantasy 🤪

Ayesha,

Kings in those days had a string of names, like Charles Philip Arthur George for Prince Charles.

Purushottam was his given name. Parvateshwar might have been a title,like Ayodhyapati. Parvatak was the name of a kingdom, which was different from Paurav Rashtra. The yuvaraj of that kingdom was Malayaketu, who was an ally of Chandragupta and Chanakya till the latter had him bumped off.

There was also a younger brother of Purushottam' s called Laghu Paurava ( laghu means small). He was an over ambitious and troublesome member of the coalition that Chanakya put together to fight Dhananand, and so Chanakya had him assassinated as well.

And yes, Ambhiraj the Second, the present Ambhikumar, married Purushottam's daughtre Kalyani.

She slowly won her husband, an ally of Alexander's, over to Chanakya's side after Alexander's death.
