"Soch" meaning your mindset, meaning what you believe in, meaning what makes part of who you are...is being asked to change by her husband.

So all this while I was reading the forum and have read posts where people have been happy that atleast Kabir accepts Zara's difference in her mindset from him but never asked her to change it. Well I guess today he did just that!

Yes, there were good moments, some really mature and realistic talk in the bedroom, some really good moments of pure romance in the hospital and it was all nice till he comes to that line and he leaves a bitter taste in the mouth yet again!

Oh Kabir, I don't know what to say anymore! You want her, that's a given. You realize she has rights on you, that's appreciative of you. You want to give her the freedom to exercise those rights also, that's also something you cleared today. But you had to make it into a deal. You asked a price for it and it felt like choking in my throat!

No Kabir, you don't love her. Love never demands. It accepts and respects. There is never a "Deal" in love. She is yours to own coz you have married her and that's all. That's where you stand today.

The day you will accept her for who she is and respect her for her beliefs and will not want her to change that for anyone is the day you will embark on your journey to love. Hopefully that day does come!!

Fantastic post. He knows her soch is not wrong, she has a point in her thoughts but still he asks her to change. Wow what a soch kabeer Saab keep it up. You will only realize her worth when u loose her. For that I want him to wish a very good luck to loose Zara ASAP

My point is not defending Kabeer, i want to make it very clear .. my point is just that we cannot show a reaction on what Kabeer says out of context .. it has to be linked with what Zara does ..

Why does he offer this deal? Because the only point of their clash is Zara wanting to be a part of his project ! .. she demands her right as a wife as why she is not a part of his work and he answers why ..

As a thrid person we know what Zara is doinfg is correct but if Zara is adamant on being a part of something so dear to Kabeer, how is he not suppose to voice out his reservations?

That's the whole point. Why should Zara step back is my question? What she shows interest in and what she doesn't is her choice. She has that liberty to make that choice and even exercise it more so since she is his wife. Similarly Kabir has the right to object or accept someone in his project. So Kabir objecting Zara is not the issue. It his project and thus his call. Upon her quest, he reasons out as well. But that's where he should have stopped IMO. No one should be asked to change who they are or what they believe in. Take it or leave it...simple! He did not have to offer her this deal at all! Reason out that her difference in ideologies is something he cannot accept as he wants to avoid potential conflicts and sourness in their relationship. But don't ask her to change!

As for love .. i dont think Kabeer has ever mentioned or even thought about love .. he has been very clear about his feelings regarding this relationship of duty and the way he shared miraj's partner plan with zara today was an indication of he is fine with everything if we drop the work talk .. but zara doesnt want to drop the work talk .. and so here is a solution from Kabeer ! YES demanding someone to change is wrong but that character hasnt reached that realization in his progression ..

Agree, Kabir has never mentioned anything about love. That's just my viewpoint I stated that he is not in love yet. As for work talk, well if Kabir is going to include another woman in his project and that too someone who is per his references 'na-mehram'...any wife woiuld object or bring up the topic and even more so when she senses danger for the hubby. Wifey calls u see!
