I never liked her after Pareshaan, infact, used to run away if I heard her voice, but it seems strange that she's just disappeared..

It means that listeners are happy to listen to remixes of old BW songs where they can manage with any auto tuned singer rather than go for new songs that test a singer's skills.

She had few chartbusters after Pareshan but was left behind in race compared to Neeti, Palak, Monali, Harshdeep and both Neha's.

Pareshaan, Daaru Desi, Aga Bai, Balam Pichkari, Chingam Chabake, Lat Lag Gayi, D Se Dance, Besharmi Ki Height, Baby Ko Bass, Beech Beech Mein etc

I guess even Pritam isn't giving her much work

My personal favourite song was Shayrana from Daawat E Ishq

It might got to do with the decline in songs sung by female singers. Even Shreya Ghoshal hardly gets any songs to sing now in Bollywood. In duet songs female singers hardly gets 2-3 lines to sing. The demand is less and even if they want any female singers they go for someone who charges less money.
