What happened to Shalmili Kholgade

She was well-praised and seemed very popular until 2 years ago.

I never liked her after Pareshaan, infact, used to run away if I heard her voice, but it seems strange that she's just disappeared..

She had few chartbusters after Pareshan but was left behind in race compared to Neeti, Palak, Monali, Harshdeep and both Neha's.

Pareshaan, Daaru Desi, Aga Bai, Balam Pichkari, Chingam Chabake, Lat Lag Gayi, D Se Dance, Besharmi Ki Height, Baby Ko Bass, Beech Beech Mein etc

I guess even Pritam isn't giving her much work

It might got to do with the decline in songs sung by female singers. Even Shreya Ghoshal hardly gets any songs to sing now in Bollywood. In duet songs female singers hardly gets 2-3 lines to sing. The demand is less and even if they want any female singers they go for someone who charges less money.

Too much of falsetto happened. She ruined kabhi kabhi ac classic for me through one of her studio mixes..😕

sona's husband is a music director right? And sona is into original folk music so she doesn't care much about bollywood.

She wasn't an extraordinary singer to being with. I recall her and Parineeti singing Pareshaan and the latter was better.
