Roxanne: Her negative impact on Alexander..

Pre Roxanne Alexander is just invincible. He has trust of his soldiers Macedonians, Greek, Egyptians and Persians.

Post Roxanne Alexander is quite vulnerable. His generals and soldiers trust him no more. Especially the Macedonians and Greeks. His teacher is angry with him. The real trouble arises when he appoints her father and brother as his army commanders. They were inept yet received high posts and when Alexander invaded Afghanistan his Persian side of army (Barsine supporters) abandoned him. Afghans destroyed his army . He won but he was no more the invincible commander he was. And when he entered India, his army is half and when Battle of Jhelum was over, only Macedonians were left with him and they too revolted.

As per historians if he had married Barsine before Roxanne it would have helped him a lot. Also Barsine was a very Docile, kind heart person, whereas Roxanne was almost like his mother olympia...She was extraordinarily beautiful but very hot headed and ruthless.

It is said that Alexander had begun to fall for Barsine also. He was training her to be her empress off course along with Roxanne. After Alexander death, Roxanne did what olympia did to her challengers. She brutally murdered Barsine and Haphestian's wife (Barsine's sister).

Now if invincible Alexander is entering India, then how will Porus resist him. So Roxanne is needed to make him look a bit weak.That's why i think she will enter the scene as Alexander story is about 80 percent true here...😊
