Star Plus' popular show Yeh Hai
Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms) will see
the entry of actress Usha Rana to play the
formidable and popular character of Toshi
Bhalla, the mother of Karan Patel in the
show.
As we know, Pakistani actress Shahnaz
Rizwan who had been entertaining
audiences in this role has bid adieu, as
she wanted to get back to her family in
Pakistan.
Now entering into the skin of the
character will be Usha Rana. The actress
who has been part of various shows is
pretty confident about her skills and does
not fear being compared.
Says Usha Rana in an exclusive talk with
IWMBuzz.com, "It feels good to be part of
this popular show. It is a very nice show,
and I have followed it too to some extent.
I will put in my efforts to do justice to the
character. I will also work along with
director and try and give my inputs to the
character which will help me settle well
into the character.
Ask her if she has seen Shahnaz in the
role, and she states "Yes, I have seen her
scenes and she did a fabulous job. Every
artist has his / her own depth and I will
soon expect myself to settle well.
On the fear of being compared, Usha who
has been part of TV shows like Ajeeb
Dastaan Hai Yeh, Yeh Kahaan Aa Gaye Hum,
Thapki Pyaar Ki and few films says, "An
artist should never fear being compared,
nor react to negative feedbacks. I have the
confidence in me to perform well as Toshi
Bhalla.
Ask about her expectations being in the
role and she states, "I want the love of
viewers. I want to entertain them. I am
really proud of being part of Yeh Hai
Mohabbatein.
