So with a heavy heart I watched the last episode of the show, its been my routine to watch the episodes early in the morning this show was my addiction but I have no regrets getting emotionally attached. For me Naamkarann is one of the best shows I have ever watched hands down! Onto the highlights
Shweta, whose mother are you really? You claim to love Neil and Avni yet you failed to understand both of them. Shweta keeps talking about wanting to see her son happy but from which angle was he happy?? He is a wreck and made it clear he is still in love with Avni, where Shweta falters its where Prakash shines! Prakash understands his children, their pain is his and he has never given up in encouraging both Avni and Neil to fight for their love! The writing for his character has just been a treat to watch, he will leave you in aww once again!!
So Neil did make an effort to go back for Avni and Mowgli but stops himself, I can't even say he was ready to go through with this marriage because technically he was not I mean he was there but even at the mandap it was Avni who haunted his thoughts. I expected to see torture seeing Neil at that mandap but it was bliss seeing him remember Avni and speak of the promises he made to her and even to take the pheras he just could not do it. For Mitali this was no mahaan act! Mitali was definitely ready to go through with this farce of a marriage but its because Neil could not proceed further that she finally accepted the fact Neil could never be hers and let him go. It was not a mahaan act just a woman coming to her senses
Avni and Neil's scenes were beautifully written, the dialogues did justice to this pairing but lets face it these two deserve a far better ending. When you saw the happiness of the Khannas awaiting the return of their bahu, it just left you with an empty feeling because you didn't even get to see that. There was so much more that could've been shown for the finale and I hate the PH and SP for not giving this show the ending its worth!
Sadly what's done is done, we cannot change the ending but I do hold out hope that this show can be brought back I mean anything is possible and SP clearly sees how popular this jodi is. Like I said earlier I will never regret becoming emotionally attached to this show, Avni and Neil will always be a class apart from the rest of the leads on TV both had their flaws but they were perfectly imperfect for me. The supporting cast has been the best where will you get another Prakash, Sunheri, DD, Ali or Neela? What about the villains? I loved Kamini, Vidyut and Ragini they were characters you loved to hate. Even Shweta yes towards the end she was a mess but hey we could've had much worse for a saas, so I would say our show is very unique and there is much to take pride in because of the old writers Nikita and Srinita whose vision was carried out beautifully by this team and cast. There is so much to cherish, going to miss NK so much and it has gone out with a bang. NK continues to do well in TRP charts, SP gave us so many videos for this show which is something they haven't done for their others and we even got some tribute write ups by fans. It is safe to say NK and AdiZa have left their mark!!
