Done!
So this is what I wrote while signing the petition:
"Sequels are usually tricky grounds to cover, and more often than not, fall flat when compared to originals. Despite DABH (Diya Aur Bati Hum) taking off in a way probably no other show on Star Plus could, its comeback in the form of TSMSP was novel, interesting and very, very informative for the current crowd that thrives on Nayi Soch. The show IS Nayi Soch. How an ultra-conservative man changed for the better and learned to keep pace with the world - all for the woman he so dearly loves, and a woman, who despite being poles apart from her husband, found his innocence, purity, and simplicity attractive, so much so that she found her soulmate in him...I mean, where can you FIND such a story. Sure, we've had plenty of shows portraying chemistry between polar opposites, but in no other show has the chemistry and understanding and the blending of these two forces been merged so well! In addition to the realistic portrayal of the leads, their situations, we had just begun enjoying their attitudes towards social issues, avidly watching the strength of their togetherness in fighting an increasingly evil world. Unlike other shows, TSMSP, just like its predecessor DABH, was on the route to discussing social issues, against the evergreen background of the leads' chemistry and relationship. I request the makers to not pull the plug on such a unique concept. In these times, people have more to learn watching a show like TSMSP than watching shows churning out repetitive dramas of marriage, remarriage, adultery, divorce, and the like. Please let the show go on, it's got so much to say to us all!
