Excellent post Mahi!šŸ‘

The episode was fast paced and had many revelations!
I was planning to make a post on the philosophical take of YPNKH - Sinha's since 3 weeks now..but something or the other keept coming up! Am glad the CV'S spelt out the philosophy for the audience yesterday and u made the post on it!

YPNKH- Philosophical take- my interpretation so far- The premise is based on the clash of ideologies or philosophies!

So the Mahabharata mainly gave us the Bhagavat Gita and Vishnu Sahasrnama. I am by no means an expert but as a reader of the Bhagvat Geeta (BG), will put forth whatever I understood/understand.

The different paths of realizations of the Universal soul/Absolute/God/Brahman ( not as in preist) as described in the BG-
1. Gyan yog- Path of knowledge - PRABHAKAR
2. Bhakti Yog- Path of devotion- PRABHAKAR
3. Karma Yog- Path of devoted action - PRABHAKAR

One can choose any path..they all lead to one.and all r interelated...in Kaliyuga, the path of Bhakti and Karma are the easiest way to lead to the Absolute. Knowledge without bhakti is a useless tinsel..Ex. If one just has the bookish knowledge of the Gita but does not use it in daily practice it is of no use. So say a housewife who performs her duties as a homemaker to the best of her abilities, has no attachments to the fruits of her actions ( nor happy nor sad- steady state- equanimity), offers all her actions to Krishna /God is on the right path!
Krishna/ Vishnu / Ram / Parbrahma/ God are one and the same . It is said that if one is unable to recite the Vishnu Sahasrnama (1000 names of Vishnu) simply saying Ram's name will suffice.

Kabhi Na bisre Ram...remember???

In the Bhagvad Geeta, Chapter 4 - Krishna traces the history of Geeta and states that it was first passed on to the Sun God. The knowledge is passed in a Guru shishya parampara!

SINHAS, ANUSHKA and the BHAGVAD GEETA !
Prabhakar means Sun symbolic for Truth!
Gayatri another name for Saraswati which also means knowledge.
Purva means East ( sunrise in east).
Anoushka means Ray of light.
Siddhant means Principles / Established Truth!

The first scene of YPNTKH -
Sid wakes up before the alarm goes off-
He is shirtless...am sure a lot of u noticedšŸ˜†
My attention went on the Janeu again symbolic of knowledge!
Tel- maalish episode- Prabhakar explains his philosophy of passes the knowledge to Gayatri who promises to make sure Sid follows the path that Prabhakar wishes so one day he can understand why he was named Siddhant!

In the Sid's house where Prabhakar picture frame is on the wall..there is a murti of Saraswati-knowledge or Gayatri at par. On one side is the Krishna -Arjun on the chariot-Bhagvad Geeta! Above the chariot is devi- probably- Aadi shakti- Absolute!

During Prabhakar's death he turned on the bhajan - Kabhi na bisro Ram...symbolic again of the Path..not to be forgotten!!! Also it is said that one gets mukti/ nirvana if one remembers God at the time of death!

This is all for now!
Sorry for the long post!

aah ...ur observation ...too good
seems CVS had much thoughts on these symbols while showing sinha's ...

Thanks Mahi for ur kind words!

Krishna is the supreme Godhead...he is the spiritual master or the Guru. During the Mahabharata war, Arjuna had laid down his arms and refused to fight the war because it would mean killing his own family. He surrendered to Krishna who in turn had given him the divine knowledge. By that association they are Guru and shishya!

Hanuman resided on the flag on Arjuna's chariot- so Hanumana present during the Bhagavad Geeta
Sanjay was blessed with the divine vision by Sage Vyasa..he could see what was happening in the war and narrate to Dhitarashtra...not sure if both heard the BG or not!

^Yup, Arjun did surrender himself so yes, Krishna did become his Guru. I'm crazy, when He's the Supreme Lord, He is also the ultimate Guru! Sorry šŸ˜†
Sanjay was given the divine vision. So yes, when time froze for the Geeta recital, Sanjay indeed saw Him giving the gyaan. Infact out of the 500+ shloks of Geeta, Sanjay has his share of around 8 shloks and 1 is by Dhritrashtra. These are questions I think.
Hanuman ji heard it cause he resided on his chariot - now I remember! Besides, he was the disciple of Sun God so obviously he is entitled to the Geeta gyaan.😳
