A Few Thoughts On Current Storyline

Just a few thoughts on the current storyline.

These days I feel the character which had so much potential to develop & has been mercilessly destroyed after Shagun is Adi's.

As a kid, he was annoying but anyone could understand the reason behind it. But ever since the 1^st leap had been introduced, this character seems to suffer from bipolar disorder. Either it's way too sweet or it's devilish.

The environment in which you grow up, plays the most crucial role in developing your personality. But it doesn't necessarily include the family only. There are many people who grow up in a very friendly environment but yet incident faced at school or outside leaves an impression that never goes away.

Aditya Bhalla's character should have been written keeping that in mind.

He had his aunt, his mom & grandparents' love growing up. He had Mihir to show him the right path. Naturally he is expected to become a gentleman. But he also had scars which none could understand. His doting father turned into a stone after his half-mother died. His younger sister was supposedly dead & his half-mother, who within mere 6 months taught him a lot of things & secured him, committed suicide. These scars were enough for him to hate Raman or to have certain amount of grudge against Pihu.

But we saw nothing of that sort. His sweeter than sugar attitude actually irritated the crap out of me because it seemed unnatural.

Then there was a 180 degree change in his behavior when he fall in love with Aliya. Then came competing with Ruhi, getting married to Aliya & in every case either he was extremely soft or was extremely harsh & pathetic with the way of handling the matter & with the people involved.

This recent falling out of love would actually made sense if it was brought out sensibly & gradually. He & Aliya got married way too early & then faced a lot of difficulties where both failed as partner. Aliya couldn't back him up & instead resorted to gambling. While he continued to chant about his responsibility towards his father & his family.

I wouldn't even talk about Roshni but let's suppose he was falling in love with someone else & maintained his decency. One would expect him to hand Aliya over the divorce paper & choose the person who can make him happy. But treating the wife as a doormat & keeping the lover as a mistress was another low.

Not to mention doing fraud in the name of his father.

Now when everyone is hating the character so much, suddenly there's a new spoiler that it's a doppleganger.

Ekta seems to be a firm believer of the seven dopplegangers of a person that in her shows it's really easy to find a duplicate when it's needed. It's the easiest fix for showing & justifying all sorts of crap done by a particular character.

But why??? When you have a huge fandom whom I suppose are descendants of Robert Bruce that they have literally coped up with every rubbish thrown at their faces, why indulging in more & more negativity & then coming up with such easy & idiotic fixes.

Take your time & develop the characters, develop the story. No one is pressurizing you to introduce newer & newer character without substance to eat up the SS. Use them in other shows where it's required. For God's sake let these fictional characters have a peaceful life & spare us from this torture.

I feel like Ekta has lost it, from a very long time. Mentally she isn't stable and seems to be dysfunctional. There is a certain sadistic pleasure that she gets from creating these kind of storylines, that are negative and dark which destroys well made characters, making no sense of the storyline! If this is a kind of story she can relate to.. then she must not be very stable in the head. She isn't trying to portray any story here, but only for her own gains, forcefully continuing a story by hook or crook, no matter how non-sense it is ! I feel sad for the actors, who work so hard, giving their time and energy to build their characters, only to have it ruined with no sense added to it! It must be so draining for them emotionally, especially when it really isn't adding much to the already destroyed storyline. They are only puppets, at the hands of the writers and directors.. The actors deserves better !! Divyanka deserves better, Abhishek deserves better!!! And everyone else !!!

If they cannot come up with decent sensible storylines then they should just complete it while maintaining its dignity and start a brand new show with the same actors and or characters, if needed!! And work to utilize their talent in a meaningful way!

You are right.. bringing in double role doesn't justify the mess they already create! It still makes it no sense! When you build a storyline, when you build a character, you must build it responsibly!

Can't imagine what the actors must be going through! And I just read, Adi will be throwing acid on Roshni and to stop it, Ishita will shoot Adi, and Raman will separate himself from Ishita out of rage, for killing Adi, and she would be going to jail! And thus would begin a separation track and a leap of some years !

What kind of a nonsense is this?????!!! Tell me !!!
